Currently have the D608...great phone, great camera, would love to stay in the samsung brand, however the only real issue is I have is w/ the sim card/phone book memory...Samsung really needs to fix this problem...Half of the phones calls and text messages I only see a telephone number, even though they are one of my contacts both on the sim and the phone memory. Further displaying the list of contacts both from the sim and from the phone at the same time..makes my list double long...even more fustrating is typing in a contact, lets say it starts w/ J, finding the name, press dial, then it goes not to that person but rather the first J listed in my contacts...So frustrating...if there is a fix for this someone please let me know...
Thanks Mubarak! :)
Not being able to add your own words to the predictive text is something that would really have bugged me so that's brilliant that you can on the D900!
Shame about the headphones but swapping the Samsung headphones for better quality ones would be a luxury rather than an essential anyway so the D900 is still looking my favourite at the moment.
the samsung e900 can support a 2gb micro..how about the d900?have u tried testing it???hope it works on the d900...
1- you can add your own word to the predictive text.
2- As far as I know only samsung headphone can be used.
I used to have a Samsung and then switched to an SE phone. Now I'm planning to upgrade and have been seriously thinking about the D900. I have read through all the comments so far and have 2 questions:
1. Can you add your own words to the predictive text memory (as you can on SE phones but I couldn't on my old samsung)
2. What kind of socket do the headphones use? Meaning do I have to use samsung headphones or can I buy better headphones with a normal headphone jack plug?
Thanks in advance,
does the built in email have an timed auto receive function like sony's. for example it autoreceive my pop email at set intervals like every 5 min(pseudo push email).
samsung - you need to include postal addresses and more details to your phone book - your phonebook software lets down these great phones. Had to switch back to trusty Nokia as you do not include basic PIM features in your phone book .
Hey people. I am just about to buy a new phone. I like the samsung D900 and E900 but I am having trouble choosing which one is better as it seems the E900 has a lot more to do but not as good camera as the D900??
Please get back to me asap
hi just got the d900 great phone but after a day it keeps restarting itself when i make a call.
any 1 out ther who can help
try comparing it personaly..i promise u d900 is superior when taking pictures & capturing videos as well compared to k800,n80, & n73
Yes, you can zoom in and zoom out your photos by pressing the volume side keys.
yes you are rigth and also if you press 1 again it rotates the view of the screen. cool, thanks for that info!!
to YHSf ,
No, you tell us. basing to fact that the d900 took better pictures.
the photos taken with the review here in gsmarena regarding the k800,d900,&n73 is fake..i saw the resolution of the camera of the three phones in person & the d900 stand out as the better one
when I play video in D820, I press 1 and it play in full screen. Try and inform please.
k800 has no match with the d900 when it comes to the camera..try looking & reviewing it in slashphone.com
