JOE; Yes. Go ahead.
(the feature is included in some versions - mine also. In other versions you can get it by using code. Still easy.. great phone in its class)

A quick question. I'm a journalist, and I'm looking for a new phone. I do a lot of phone interviews and I'm looking for something that can record phone calls as I make them. I know some Nokias do it, but does this?

CONCRETE. Yes there are 15 animations called "emotions" in SMS. Also there is "vivid messaging" which is fantastic.

LUCY. It's the best and has pretty much everything - except Voice Dialling. I wouldn't change it for any other mobile.

To Rajesh

RING & VIBRATE.
Raj, for those like me who alternate between noisy environment and quiet ones so frequently, the last thing i want to do is adjusting ringing settings. So i lazily leave it in RING & VIBRATE to take care of these extreme situations without having to fiddle with phone all the time. I am the good reason for their inclusion of this feature in D900

Excellent phone! I bought mine new on ebay for £130 although they can be about £170 in shops.
The camera is excellent quality, even when zoomed in. The one slight problem is that you have to keep the phone still while taking a picture but you get used to it.
The phone memory is pretty good. At the moment I have about 100 photos and 5 songs and 2 videos stored and its holding out. There is also the extra option of getting a removable memory card which will increase the storage. I would recommend mobymemory.com as they give good discounts on memory cards.

Can someone help me with this?

How many seconds does it take for the camera to take a picture? Cos I heard that it takes a long time, and I wouldnt want to buy a phone that has a slow camera.

Thankyouu! [:

Suggest you buy a good digital camera of 6MP or more. Phone cameras although touted to be 3MP is not the same as standalone camera.

I have an old Nikon Coolpix 2 Megapixel camera that takes better than the 3 Megapixel D900. They are good in a pinch such as photograping and accident or something you see in the store that you want your wife to see before you buy.

The first time I inserted a Micro SD card (1GB) my phone it also displayed "Not Allowed". At first, I thought the phone has software error since the card can be detected on a PC. I bought another card and finally the phone can detect it. I guess the phone requires a good quality MicroSD card since my first card was non-branded and the second one quite branded, so probably there was some QC problems on the first card. I had the first card replaced (same non-branded) and now both works fine.

I've been using the slider phone for 3 years now, the first was the D500c and now the D900. The best thing about Samsung D-series is that it always stands as benchmark design and functionality for other samsung phones. The phone is not that FRAGILE as some may think, I think it's quite sturdy and durable slider phone on market. I work in a construction company, and been dropped mine accidentally few times at site and it still works good. ONE NOTE: Since it's very thin, it tends to slide down when you hold it to your shoulder. But i still love the fact that it's thin! And it's got 3MP camera too :)
