Sure, you can lock the following SEPERATELY or TOGETHER with password:
Heng, this phone can ring and vibrate together.
Go to settings/security/privacy and choose whatever you wan't to keep locked. The default password of phone is 00000000. You can change this in the same security menu.
just got the fone this weekend. good looks, good feel to it, but im disapointed at the sound features. its so frustrating having that terrible keypad tone on all the time. only goes off when the fone is on silent mode, why why why?????????
hey does the d900i have the option
where u can put a password so no one can access the sms messages and picture gallary
please let me no i wanan get this fone
i don't like Samsung because:
the phone and memory card don't work in sync.
In order to use a caller image, the picture must be saved on the phone.
Or to apply a mp3 as a ringtone, it must be stored on the phone. What can you do if the internal memory is small. One more thing I am angry with the phone is " no ring and vibrate at the same time".Note: Samsung has lost a lot and a lot of customers because of that.
When I use the Music Player for playing any playlist or when I charge the battery it gets heat up.What the hell is this with D900i !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got this phone 2 days ago. Looks great and feels great. However compared to my previous Sony Ericsson K750, this Samsung choice is really inferior.
Radio sound quality sucks as it lacks bass and is mono sound. MP3 player sound quality is also not as rich as Sony Ericsson.
SMS is not user friendly and long winded complicated steps.
The instruction manual that comes along is not detailed and leaves a lot for the user to explore on his own to figure how to use the functions.
However, I must stress that the pictures it takes look great.
Lastly, if you are looking for a phone which has a high trade in value after some usage, please do NOT choose Samsung !! I paid $399 but was told that if i wanna trade in now it would only fetch $200, considering it's only 2 days old !!
My girlfriend bought this phone about three weeks ago. Yes, it's got some nice features, and it looks good, it's a 2007 phone. But for a 2007 phone i'm very disapointed. My k750i is much better and is over 1 year old allready.
im planning to buy this phone.is the battery oK, how long does the battery last. 4 days?
i just took 5 pictures using this fone, and it ate up 1 bar of battery. how come other users say their battery lasts really long? how come mine lasts only 2 days and i use my fone only for sms and calendar, im not even playing music yet...:(
i would like to know is there any issue about its battery life.heard that its battery is not that strong.for how long one can listen songs using it.and how much its baterry is compared to k750i
i can't set my contacts list so that i can only see those saved in my sim, or those just in my phone memory. i keep the same list in both my sim and phone but iwant to see just one list while using my d9001. can anybody help me?
looks nice features excellent maybe it has its problems but remember the perfect mobile never exsists because they all will give u problems TECHNICAL PROBLEMS i mean
Hlonu, click the below link to download "D900 tips/tricks/downloads...". You may find the answer to your question at the very beginning of the guide. Most of the tips work for D900-i also.
I want to know how doi switch off the keypad tones as the option to configure the keypads is disabled.......
what is the best capacity of memory card to buy for this phone:512mb or 1gb.
Do you guys think that a firmware update will be out soon for this phone? I really find it annoying that you can't browse through pictures on the memory card easily. And also, it would be better if samsung could find a way to display thumbnails faster... having low-res pix at thumbnail view would make this faster. Otherwise, no regrets with buying this phone! For the Mac users:
You can sync your contacts/photos etc using iSync. See:
Recommend you follow the installation mentioned in the comment of that page, rather than altering the iSync application contents.
I've just done it that way and Syncs easily via Bluetooth with my iBook G4 on OSX 10.4
how do you put your own screen saver on? also, how do you save incoming mms videos? are you able to save them in downloaded vidoes rather than just a folder in incoming messages?
