Anonymous, 07 Jun 2012Great phone but like others have found the touchscreen to be a real problem and it has now sto... moreMy D980+ lasted from 2008 to 2015.
I never had touchscreen probs,and good photos for a phone that era.
but I dropped it one time from my roof and surprise surprise I broke the inner screen on the right up corner and made it "bleed" a little but no prob with that,then it died from me,trying to take underwater photos but it lasted a good 7 yrs

Tiago, 02 Dec 2009I'm having the same problem, and unfortunately I couldn't figure out yet, how to edit the phot... moreI realise this an old post but for those having problems editing images taken by the D980, here's the solution:
Copy the image and paste it into Paint, then save as JPEG. You will then be able to edit them as you see fit. :)

Great phone but like others have found the touchscreen to be a real problem and it has now stopped working after 3yrs too! Decided to cut losses and get a cheap dual band from HK and bin it after 2 yrs if it goes wrong - less hassle than repairing the touchscreen.
