I have been having problems with this model. Common complaints include:
1. Phone call doesn't end even when "end call" button is pressed, resorting to removing the the battery just to terminate the call, and then having to restart the phone – including the date and time settings.
2. At normal mode, phone sometimes doesn’t ring resorting to missed calls.
3. Sometimes when pressing “end call” button, phone doesn’t end right away, and you have to press the end call a few times. Otherwise, please see complaint #1.
Please advise how to troubleshoot this problem without having to go to the service center if possible.
I just bought mine for only 900 pesos hahaha cheapest lol.. perfect phone for its price... featherlight thin and nice design... but im having an hard time using # as the space lol.. but all in all.. great! thumbsup!
Pweaky!, 29 Aug 2010i just bought it yesterday for only (999PHP) approximately around $23 actually my 1st choice i... morei agree.. this phone is almost perfect. tect/call friendly.. BUT, this has software issues... after 3 days that i bought the phone, it just lost sgnl. i went to the service cnter, had it temporarily fixed. then after 2 weeks, same problem--NO SIGNAL. then had my unit replaced. still, had the same problem. so I quit and settled for nokia. same case w/ my brother's phone, same model.. :(
anne, 21 Sep 2010there isn't a headset when you bought this phone? Nope!
I bought this model as E1081T. 500 messages and 1000 contacts. Key pad is good and soft. Battery stamina is good. Reception of calls is OK compared to many samsung phones - can talk even when signal indicator shows just one bar. Call quality is not great - distortion is definitely there. Ear piece volume to be adjusted and kept at middle level for less distortion. Definitely value for money for people who just need a phone for calls and messages.
i just bought such like this phone awhile ago and it's only (999php)just like cherrymobile p1 and torquee35 e55 it's good it has a nice features.. the keypad is soft this is a nice phone :) try to buy one

- battery life 1 week (10-20sms a day, few calls)
- good keypad
- bright display
Now I'm thinking about mp3. Does this phone really supports mp3 ring-tones?

2-You can set password on:
Very cool phone. Good design, keyboard is soft, yet precise so you don't end up hitting two buttons. Flashlight is actually white screen ON with maximum brightness and it's very useful. It has calendar, converter, timer, stopwatch, wallpapers, Theme's, power saving mode (but i don't know yet what it does). It has lot's of phone security options like:
One thing I'm working on now is to buy USB cable and try to transfer some wallpapers and mp3 ring-tones to phone.
Overall very good phone with justified average score of 7,6. And just for 26 euro!!! The only minus is there is no reminder with alarm on this phone.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2010i already tried that. and already save every setting too. but no luck.
is this problem did... moreI heartily appreciate your habit of following up. Honest! We can try another trick. I'm gonna give you my settings for the "Normal" profile. Would request you to follow the path EXACTLY and copy the settings EXACTLY.
Menu > Settings > Profiles > highlight "Normal" > Options > Edit >
Call alert type > Melody
Call ringtone > Basic tone.mid
Message alert type > Melody
Message alert tone > Message 4
Keypad tone > Mute
Volume > Call alert loudest > Message alert loudest > keypad tone zero/silent > Alert tone zero/silent > SAVE volume >
BACK > Options > SAVE > now activate "Normal" profile.
If this too doesn't work, we'll go for a format. Don't worry. I'll be available for a safe, secure, zero-loss format. But first, try the above settings. And don't forget to post the result here.
