I just bought this phone yesterday and it's a really nice phone. I like it a lot. There's one slight problem though. Anytime I delete an SMS message it would make a sound... or anytime I make any changes to the phone it would make that same sound. How can I get rid of it?

Sasha: Um..thanks for trying to help, but at both of those sites, the prices are ridiculous !!!! they charge u $400 for the phone and then another 15 on top for shipping? no thanks !! Ill take my chances on EBay .. thanks anyway

does anyone know what sites are available to compose ringtones for this fone..? i cant seem to find any.. and is it possible to make the fone vibrate and ring at the same time..?

yeah 1 more thing.. i found out that samsung phones' infra red can't send files to any else where other than another samsung phones unless through usb cable..is it true? if it is.. its infra red is kinda useless..

well it works through infrared to dl/ul pics and ringtones through ur pc/laptop :) go get easy studio 1.0

Hey Shawn. I use mine with Tmobile. Go to Network settings try changing your network selection to manual. Also you might want to change your band selection. Its really odd cos your phone recognizes that Cingular...Where did you get your phone?
Also Janela, if your parents are ok with you buying from the internet, www.myworldphone.com or www.samstores are pretty reputable and thier prices competitive!

to shawn : I have a question for you - do u have the U.S. T-Mobile? If so, may I ask where you bought it? My parents won't let me buy one off of ebay, but they seem to be the cheapest ones. Thanks

My E630 says Cingular when it's on. I have T-MOBILE, does anyone know how to make it read T-MOBILE? Also, I when sending text, you can't switch between numerical charachters and the alpha bet by clicking on a certain key to change, you have to swtich the back browser to change it. Please send me an e-mail to fix these issues.

um..does anyone know if, when writing an SMS, u can switch the T9 to regular alphabet? it says that you can't turn it off permanently, but i have an E715 and i cant turn it off permanently, but can change it temporarily. Is it the same for the E630? Thanks *

Please help me!!! I see someone mentioned there is a patch available to make the Samsung e638 ring and vibrate at the same time, where did you download it???? I have checked the samsung site to no avail.... PLEASE HELP

i just bought a e630 and everthing is good and very nice but i cant connect to wap or internet or whatever... i live in united states and this phone is from other country i think.... and my carrier is t mobile and it said cigular on it... can anyone please tell me how to go on website or wap or something??? it said network unavailable

Great phone. I look the outlook! But how do you transfer the pictures out from the phone to the laptop? I don't want to send an email to myself from the phone for every picture! how does infra-red from phone to pc work?
