I'm a 15 year old teen so im pretty much a tech freak lol.. This phone i can tell u people is very good. the features are very hi-tech, especially the video recorder. i do admit there is alot of menus to go threw to find specific things like sending an sms but that shoudnt be a reason for not getting the phone its not that much of a con. i recomend this phone to people who will actually use its features like MPEG4, mp3, video recorder camera and stuff. People who mostly use their phones just for calling and sms then go for a nokia they're much more easier to use but features arent that WOW.

To upload mp3s is easy, just buy a USB cable or BlueTooth Dongle and connect it into your phone. Also Download "EasyStudio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager". pretty much self explanatory after that.
As for the phone. This Phone is pretty Darn GREAT. I'm in the US, and not many phones that are out can measure up to this phone. Mp3 players pretty cool, its light,slick,and easy to use. Only some downs about the phone which are hardly even worth writing. GREAT PHONE GET IT ASAP!

well i been having the phong for like couple months now and i been learning new things about it like how to put music on the phone without easy studio and many more but the sound is not bad but signal is another story when i talk on the phone with someone i hav to turn my phone a certain angle jus to get good service and i also dont like how much memory u can get how come it cant be like 512mb or something like that

hi guys. im stuck making a decision b/w this fone and the new sony ericcson K750i. the samsung looks better but SE features sounds better. ive never bought i new fone so bit hesitant. any opinions?

I don´t think anybody will pay much attention to your comment..
Not even reviewers take the talk\network part seriously, and only very seldon even mention anything about it, in extremely inconclusive fashion..
But hey, it´s the consumers fault, see anyone actually interested in phones just for how good they"phone"?
Wish at least some reviewr would read these comments..

i am rlly interested in buying this phone as it seems great but one thing thst didnt seem to be mentioned in the revieew on this site, but is mentioned A LOT by users is the sound and making calls...truthfully, is it rlly that bad? or is it hard to hear in loud places, but will do. I don't really recieve many calls as opposed to texts, and my friend has the D500 and sounds fine on hers so i dont see how the sound can be so different between them, but i dont want it to become an issue if i do buy it...?

the e720 is a much over rated its true it looks good and it can be easy to use, but i was unhappy with it booklet set out i would have to take hours out of my time to find out how some parts of the phone works and camara isnt verygood at a party !!!

Hey all, does anyone know how i can apply a message tone of my own? I got a really good one sent to me butwhen i try to set it as a message tone it only gives options to setas caller ID or a ringtone?!

Can someone tell me how can i convert a .mp4 like the standard video in the e720 cuz he has 7 mb and is good quality.. what is the best converter for this ?

ok dis fone is really great its gd lookin and has a very gd video camera so if dats wat your after buy it but the sounds not too gud it sounds like d person is talkin 2 u is all quiet like they r talkin from behind a cloth oh and the dictionary sux it doesn't store a single word trust me i had to learn it the hard way...

This is a very beautiful phone, one must have it, the styling and the size is incredible. I give it 110% points.

I am on my 3rd one now. Gorgeous looking phone, sharp display, crap volume and crap signal.
I think I must conclude by the other feedbacks, if you are happy not to hear your phone ring and miss calls, and get a bug free phone, which to date I havent, then it is fine.
I hate the sight of it now cos I have had 3 due to hanging and signal problems. Wish I had stuck to Nokia now!

This fone is useless.. yeah its pretty funky and feature wise its wow, but u have to go through about 6 diff menus and options just to send a freaking sms! Also to get to general options, there is a lot of navigating through menus! not very time efficient!

Hey, I just bought this phone, i was a Nokia user before this...but the E720 is just so beautyful and stylish, i could not resist. It has a fairly decent MP3 Player, and can store about 14 songs while still having around 3mbs for pictures. To use the easy studio 2 program try changing the Com ports in file>setup (restart after changing) it should work. For all the Nokia users wanting to take the change i recomend this phone because it has a very similar operating system from Nokia, just a step below and slightly harder but you can get used to it. The more important thing is that you have this stylish piece of phone, and as we all know Nokia makes the worst flip phones. Enjoy your new fashion item! Taa!

ei, pls help me. um...is the "easy studio II" software really not compatible with Windows XP? i do not know how to transfer mp3 songs from my pc to my phone using USB cable... can someone pls teach me how? step by step pls... and another thing, whenever i plug in the USB port to the pc the statement "USB port not recognized" appears... someone pls help. tnx!

for those who r going to buy it!!! pls do not be trick by those who describe mp3 tones loud and clear. its even softer than any other mobile phones/ cant even compare with a 8250!. if your r going to put it in your pocket without vibrate, be prepare to see miss calls! theres nothing samsung can do abt it. i regretted buying it. it would be the last samsung for me. just bought a w800i. though its a bit expensive, sure its worth the $$$.

you said that EasyStudio only displayed COM1 & COM3. i think that u might have the earlier version of EasyStudio. if you dont have EasyStudio 2, take this link and select your phone model to download the latest software.. http://www.samsung.com/download/Model_Select.aspx?type=Mobile+Phone&typecode=18&subtype=Mobile+Phone&subtypecode=1805&model=SGH-E810&filetype=SW&language=
after installing go to setup and there should be COM ports 2 & 4. Try COM4 as that is the port that works for me. If it is still showing 'Offline' after you do this, make sure that ur usb cable is plugged in properly or isnt faulty.
