Angie: to get music on your E720 you'll use: Bluetooth or a Samsung Datacable =)
hi ive just got this new e720 could someone please tell me how to get the music from my pc to the phone chhers angie
Thx nige for the reply.....got another question though,
Can anyone tell me if the voice is still an issue with is as it has no loudspeaker it has to be clear and loud to be able to hear it!.....
I have the 6230 and thinking of changing to this one cause i want a clam and nokia haven't brought any out that is small and looks as good as this one.
I love this phone, there is just one thing that I can't work out... on the E700 the colour display on the outside used to illuminate all the time with a screen saver type thing (the balls or clock) On this the external display photo only show for a matter of seconds... is there any way of changing this as to be honest it seems a little pointless other wise!!
If u can help please do!!
Sound quality is an issue with this phone. Most people say they get a muffled sound from the ear piece speaker during calls. But it is not a fault with the speaker. When you play MP3's through the same speaker it is crisp and clear. In fact, it's on the 'tinny' side if anything. It has to be the way the software is set up. As far as i can see, there is NO option to adjust the sound quality on calls.
Yes, you can have delivery reports for sms if your network supports them. You can have delivery reports for mms as well, but this does not seem to work on Orange.
The camera does have quite a loud shutter sound, but you can turn it off so it is silent.
Just got this phone, but have no idea how to use the MP3. Can someone help?
That depends on the size of your songs. Normal quality (128 kbps) should be like 1MB for each minute.
What is your email address? Would like to be in contact with you :-)
i i have nokia 6230 and samsung e720 i have compare them and i come to this. if you want a posh phone with nice features such as quality pictures and videos get the samsung which i can assure is the smallest phone with too much features in it. lack of good music sound make 9/10. nokia is a use friendly phone thares no such phone in market which is understandible and friendly its a big bigger than samsung which could be a bit annoying to fit into your pocket, poor quality in videos compare with samsung. but better quality in music and sound also suitable for business not to mention infrared and radio.
just 2 things
if you want your friends to envy you for a while get the samsung
if you want to be like anyone alse in street get nokia( i mean everyone now has nokia 6230 and soon the prive will drop.
anyway i`m selling my phones samsung 200 quids and nokia 150 quids both on t mobile. no time waster
HI everyone!! i really want to get this phone... but im not sure if it would work on cingular's service ... if neone has any details... plz shed some light..... and i was wondering... if you take a picture with this phone does it make an annoying shutter noise? .... cause that is really annoying..
I'm thinking of getting this phone, but have heard that there are problems with the voice sound on a call. Is this a big problem, and does it affect all phones, or only an unlucky few?
how do you record songs to save as your ringtone? ive tried it and the sound is so quiet. but in the book it says you can record songs and have them set as ringtone but how when its so quite you cant hear it!!! help me someone!!
Hi, just wondering if someone with this phone could tell me how strongly it vibrates? And on average how long does the battery last? Thanks
There is a voice clarity thingy to improve sound quality during calls. You can find it in the left hand menu when speaking.
If you want to transfer mp3's and pictures and stuff, you have to use either a bluetooth dongle for your PC, or a USB cable. If yo want to use the cable, you have to install a program calles easy studios..(follows the cable). USB is easier, but slower than the cable.
Hope this helped.
For sms, there is only 10 preinstalled tones you can choose from. (you can't use mp3's or ringtones for sms) And that's it. But on calls, you can have mp3's or ordinary ringtones or whatever.. (but NOT recordings.. that's a bad thing.)
mms is the same as sms, 10 preinstalled you can choose between..
