I am really surprised to read all the negative feedbacks and problem with the phone.
I am very happy with the phone. It work perfectly for me. The only downfall with the phone you can't open any file documents that you kept on the phone. But aside from that problem everything is perfect.
I can listen to my MP3 musics (downloaded 10 songs), listen to my FM radio with clarity, bluetooth is not an issue work great, ringtones sound great no hassle it can play and vibrate (your choice)and it can send/receive email.
You can't ask for more than that - the best thing of this phone it's not COSTLY to buy unlike other phones.
Good on you Samsung. Keep up the good work!!!
Its me again...i tried the whole backlight show cover indicator thing and its on, but the clock still doesnt stay on. I dont want the small blue time to stay on, i want the actual pic of the clock or picture to stay lit...is this poss? Somebody please help me...thanks x
I NEED HELP! I transferred an mp3 file to my e730 (the file used to be an *.*rmj file which i changed to an *.*mp3 by renaming the file) and now eventhough it says mp3 in my phone it won't play and the WORST part is I'm unavailable to delete the file! The error says "Not Available", and when I checked my memory status it did take up space. HELP!! I don't know what to do...
hey can someone please list again what format you have to make your mp3 files so it can ring and vibrate at the sametime. would really be helpful thanks..
ummm u all havin lil probs with data transfer...did u all check the samsung website for trouble support or whatever?
Hi everyone..... i just bought this new E730.. it's driving me nuts...
I tried to transfer my MP3 files from computer to the PC using the USB cable and PIM Manager software, BUT in the midst of downloading, it just disconnects and the mobile will automatically shut by itself!
Anyone can solve this problem>?>
I have installed every program from the software cd, followed all possible instructions, but i STILL cannot upload melodies into the fone! Once i connect the phone to the computer via USB, the PIM and File Manager program will not allow me to press the "melody to phone" icon. How can i access it? Please email me, any help would be greatly appreciated!
i read in some other website that the E730 won't be released in europe... if u bought one, you'll be3 habving troubles.... i think only the e720 is available there...
Go to: Menu ->Settings-> Display settings -> Back Light-> Show cover indicator - change to ON. The blue clock will stay on.
Which one is better? The glossy one or the matte one? i mean in terms of durability and looks
Hey i just bought my Samsung E730 a few days ago and think its great but i am having a few problems which i would appreciate some help with!! Firstly, when i close the phone, the cover display like the clock or picture only stays lit for like 5 seconds and then goes off, i have tried changing the settings under display settings and backlight and changing the times of LCD on and LCD dim but none of the times change how long its on for. Can someone please tell me how to make the clock etc stay lit for longer please??? The second thing is i used to have an E800 and that enabled you to view either only contacts saved on phone or contacts saved on the sim one at a time, only my E730 shows both! I have tried all the functions under phone book and still cannot change this. Does anyone know if its possible just to show phonebook contacts and how i do this?? Please help me, when you write the reply label it to me at the top so I know its for me. Thanks a lot guys, hope to hear from you soon!!!
I'm really interested in purchasing this phone! Can someone please tell me if it can ring/recieve messages and still remain completely silent, WITHOUT the vibrate? It is important that this phone can be truly silent for me- because of work meetings, etc! Please Help! Thanks!
I'm surprised to read so much trouble that people SEEM to be having. A lot of the troubles I've read can be fixed by simply adjusting some settings.
I am a T-Mobile user and it works fine with T-Mobile. I was able to access T-Mobile Web on my phone by calling T-Mobile. You have to talk to someone from tech support though, and the customer care rep has to transfer you. This has to be done first, no matter which carrier you have, before you can send photos, videos, or get your email. I have been sending photos and video messages to my other friends with T-Mobile and they can receive everything perfectly. T-Zones works great on my E730 too.
I love the 1.3 megapixel Camera on this phone. Love the flash. The video recording is the clearest on any phone that i've ever had. And with 92MB of memory, I've got plenty of room to do lots of recording, photos, and plenty of space for MP3s. It also has a voice recorder that even allows you to set your recorded voice as a ringtone.
Different wallpapers can be applied to both the internal and external displays.
The radio feature is awesome and can be accessed by hitting the play button on the outside of the phone. One of the most convenient features of this phone is of course the bluetooth. I also like the fact that you can set individual ringers for individual people as well as groups. Most samsungs only allow you to set ringers for groups of people only.
Overall this is a great phone and I love it.
You can find it for the right price if you really look around but I think you will be satisfied with every penny you spend on it.
The problem about the USB Cable is that it charge the battery when you connect it to the phone!
Is this possible for e730 to ring mp3 ringtone and vibrate at the same time?
Is Bluetooth or USB cable better to connect the phone to the pc? I dont know which one to get
