i just bought the e800 and am having problems with the photo caller id. when someone calls me their photo doesn't appear. if anyone knows what to do please mail me.
I agree this is a easy to use and stylish phone and it takes great photographs, so why is it that against all my attempts and weeks of pulling out my hair I cannot get the photographs to up load via a USB cable to my computer ??? I have been to pc world, endless amount of phone shops but no-one can help me, one phone shop suggested that I e-mail my photographs to my computer, great idea I thought, went through the whole process only to be told at the end that NETWORK UNAVAILABLE. My love affair with my phone is on the rocks as I am so frustrated about not being able to get to my photographs please can you help.
Hey, i bought this phone from oversea, brought it to Canada, but doesn't work? any explaination? it works fine in Asia, do'nt know why it didn't work in Canada under the 1900 frequency, if u know wat 2 do, email and let me know... thanx....
I think the Samsung E800 is a very stylish phone, but the battery life is poor, especially when taking photo's. The appearance is very neat and eye-catching and it's a small, compact phone. The only other problem I have is the annoying alarm tones. Couldn't Samsung have come up with something more gentle when waking you up in the morning, instead of these loud tones that almost make your heart stop beating???
I bought this phone two weeks ago to replace my sony ericsson z600.
- cant send or recieve anything via infrared.
- no 'unsent' messages folder so if you leave the message writing screen you have to do your text all over again.
- you cant set the phone to ring and vibrate at the same time.
- the keypad is very small, wouldnt recommend for men.
- no bluetooth.
its not a bad phone but the little things are the things that are really annoying me, id recommend the z600 and will prob go back to sony ericsson very soon!
i have had this phone for 2 days, text ok but cannot make or receive calls.
to activate the call function i seem to need a 4 digit password
my service provider cannot help me with this
can anyone help me pleeeeeese?
just to shed some light on the problems with e800... many people are experiencing problems texting, getting no service messages up and error messages up when trying to text.. the problem is in the phones software, it needs flashing.. if your phone is less than a year old you need to phone samsung and have it sent back for repair, you must phone samsung as the more people that log the same problem the more chance of them not repeating it with future phones. ihave phoned them today and they are sending out the relevant packaging to return my phone for repair..
i thought this fone was the best looking one around but thats it the camera is good on it but iv had mine a month and the camera on it has already broke it hasnt got any good functions on it its jus a fone 4 show i think also i red box has come up against my batetry bar can some one tell me wot it is plz???

Hi i work for O2 and i got given this phone before it came out and let me say it is over rated. the best thing about it is its looks. The camera is one of the best on the market but there is no video or bluetooth. The infra-red only allows you yo send phone numbers and photos

Currently having problems, I've only had it 3 days. It won't send or recieve text's or send or recieve calls. Everytime I try to ring out it comes up warning, only emergency calls can be made. I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas what is wrong with it. Thankyou

first and foremost i bought my phone e800 last september. does anyone can email to me and share how to send a picturesvia infrared? one thing i would like also to know the password. what is the password of the phone? i didnt change any password in the phone. (i lost my manual). to the concern people who read this please tell me also how to transfer a pic from phone to personal computers like e700 had? your answer will give me a great help.
I back up the persons comment since I bought the phone I have been trying to work out why so expensive! You can't play or record videos, is not an mp3 player. Its just got better quality in terms of photos and memory & looks darn sexy and i'll get back to you if I find the mystery to the expense, still looking o o
well I purchased an e800 and it came in a color named as "Cool Grey" on the box, I ordered an extra battery and it is a completely different colour it is a light silver battery and looks totally silly. i have rang Samsung and they are telling me that the phone only comes in one color. can someone shine a light on this as this is really frustrating me no end!! has someone mixed up the colors when making the plastic for the batteries or what, hello THEY DON'T MATCH!!!!!
