I like the look and style of this phone. It looks very basic and has quite a few features to. I also like the colour to, and the way it flips open to show the nice keypad. I like phones like this that have two displays.

does anyone know the trick to read new messages from the front screen display without opening the whole wide screen? my E870's LCD was broken! I only have the front screen to keep me going... help anyone. thank you.

when u type txt.. press long they star kay it shoudl switch the T9 on, u shoudl see the icon on the top right of the screen. hope it helps!

Hey! I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me out a bit with the SMS. I can't seem to figure out how to turn the T9 on for texting. It's a little too much work to enter each letter in everytime because I text ALOT.

hey,
I have this phone over almost 2 years and I must say, it's probably the best phone I ever had.
There are a few things that aren't right in your reviews... There is a flash, you can put movies you make on the wallpaper, you have over twenty standard polyphone ringtones and then you can self put mp3 tracks on it (what's so cool!)
and if you want to listen to your MP3 while doing other things... like reading your texstmessages, you have to put by options of mp3 'above all' on...
I really still love my phone!
And the bluetooth works perfect with my laptop.

Hi , just got this phone from a friend , it has only 1 choice of ringtones(which is horrible) or maybe theres more just cant get it . when in sound settings /incoming call/ringtone there are no choices to select the melody i want , when the ringtone part is highlighted it just plays this one ringtone and when i press the cursor s left or right it just doesnt do anything like give me more options of ringtones or melodies . does it come with just one ringtone.? how can i get more dont have usb cord too?

About to get this second hand and am very excited :). I've read the comments, and have gathered that:
1) no way to customize themes?
2) No flash wallpapers?
Will I be able to add languages other than english with the Samsung PC Media? And are there any mac users that use this phone?

this phone is lovely. but finding it for sale in the UK is like finding a needle in a haystack.
they go and discontinue the one phone i'm desperate to have. typical.
