Samsung

Information about the Samsung SGH-E870 mobile phone has appeared on several sites. There is no official information from Samsung yet, but there are full reviews available (in Russian).

The new unisex model has no predecessor in any Samsung series but it is partially build on the E770 platform. With its 92 x 42 x 16 mm measures and weight of 85 g it is smaller and lighter than the similar E720, E730 and E760 models. It is equipped with an external OLED display (96 x 80, 65K colors) and an internal TFT one (176 x 220, 262K colors). The new Samsung has iPod-like design and it also has MP3 and MPEG4 support. Samsung E870 has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and video recording possibility. It also has a TransFlash (microSD) card slot which can be useful if using its music features. The phone has 80MB internal memory too.

There is no available information about the release date, but since the testing pieces seem fully functional we expect the phone to be available soon.

It is a clam version of the Samsung T809. Nevertheless, it is a good phone.
