Ave had this fne fur a munth now and i would say overall its a great fone. One thing i'de ask help on though is how do u turn off the noise it makes when u accidentaly hit the cancel button because its getting really annoying now.
hello?? SE W810i cannot multi-task?..please, sony ericsson is the first few brands to enable multi tasking musci players..besides its a walkman mobile...in fact samsung jus got this feature on their mobile phones...anyway..this phone looks fragile but the design is indeed very classy
I've had this phone for about a week and I am very impressed. The touch buttons took about a day of getting used to and I have no problems with it. I do not accidently exit games or erase whole messages when I play games. Furthermore, you have to "hold down" (ie touch for about 2 seconds) the exit button for the phone to exit whatever application it is in. The camera is great, second only to the sony ericsson 2mp+ phones. Music player is awesome too, as you are able to use the phone's other apps (text messaging and so on) while the music plays, which the SE W810i cannot do. The E900 is also very stylish and guaranteed to turn heads. It blows the LG Chocolate out of the water. The only cons I can see are that the touch sensitive buttons takes a little time to get used to,there are only 2 skins for the phone's menu (black and white), no custom message tones, and lack of an actual "Phone ringing" ringtone. Other than that, the E900 is great, very fashionable and full of features. I highly recommend it.
I work for phones4u there have been alot of complaints regarding the sheer sensitivity of the e900 touch pad customers are coming back in droves asking to exchange their phone for a different model. It really is over sensitive try replying to a txt and you may find you have sent a friend a empty txt message as the touch pad can double click or even quad click with just 1 touch. This phone is more fashion/gadgeteer based than anything else. Productive phone users should opt for d600 which has exactly the same features as e900 without the anoyingly poor control of a touch pad "feature" D600 is also £100 cheaper.
i agree to all of you that this is a very sleek and stylish pphone......ans i think that the sensor pad is very kewl but wth?!?!...iz up wit it being to sensitive...omg i clear out everything afta one touch of the clear button...omg its annoying.....if you guy ha ve a a gud way to fix that problem tell me....plz.....but u gotta think bout it.....it is a nice phone....argh im so mad...
anybody know how to set up the internet connection for T-zone??? or where i can get it to set-up??
To get the memory card out, push it in with your fingernail until you hear a click, then it comes out.
had the phone 2 days ...dissapointed . swapping it for k800i . basically its been marketed on the looks and the touch screen and has far to many little issues for a phone supposedly of its class. is it to much to ask to have a normal ring tone ( i want an adults phone not one with NO option but annoying tones ), the touch sensitive is too sensitive ( sick of re doing txt ) txt is completly round the houses to do , cannot change themes or sufficient ring/alarm tones , camera slow to boot etc etc to name only a few individualy these would be picky faults but as a phone marketed as a be all and end all im afraid it has to many annoying niggles . would be terrified to drop it ( w800 has been bounced many times !! ) i really really want to love this phone , it looks fantastic and is a stylish item that will attract comment , alas is it a phone im going to be happy with for the next 12month ....im afraid not . it seems that its been rushed in some of the operation stuff.
sure this is a very beautifull phone but i just can't find a complete samsung phone. i want a radio! samsung has the most beautifull phones but i cant find a complete one, and i think the batteries are less good...
I've had so many problems with this phone and am sending it back and changing it for a se k800i. I've had 3 of these phones and all have turned out to be faulty. The first one kept switching on and off and the second and third the signal is terrible. Keeps losing it and takes a very long time to connect a call. I was trying to send a message for over an hour the other day with no luck. Browsing through photos as well lags quite a ot which is quite annoying. The touch sensitive keypad is alright and you do get used to it but it is TOO sensitive and i find while writing messages you often catch the exit button and lose the message. It also does this during games.
i've had this phone for a couple of weeks and i love it!!! the menu button and call buttons are touch sensitive (watever u call it) but not the screen itself.worth every penny..
Beautiful touch sensative buttons (not touch screen). After 2 days of more-than-average use the battery had 1 of 3 bars left. I love all the features and the only thing I miss is the voice dialing through bluetooth (this phone lacks any voice dialing). it does an incredible job reproducing qvga video and the airplane mode is very nice.
i have now had my phone for couple of weeks and still cant get it 2 stay on predictive texts ive tried everythin i might go in the shop and ask if there is somethin wrong with it cos strange that some of u havent had a prob with it its annoy as i always use t9
i've read many opinions, and people seem to say that the phone has touch screen, is this true? i thought it was the keypad that was touch sensitive?!
i really want to get this phone but i heard that the battery life is poor, and only lasts 2 days, is this true?
awsome phone! it wokrs great..i was especially captivated by calling graphics.hahahah touch takes a bit of getting used to. the speaker and earphones quality high on treblle no bass..so sounds tinny. its ...satisfactory i guess. camera is good. phone build is good..and looks great. scarred to death to scratch the glossy finish though=( haha but its beautiful. all in all i'd say its a contender phone. just lakcs autofocus and a good audio quality.
hi all i currently have a SE w800i and i want to change it with one of the new samsung Mobiles the E900 or the D900? i am very confused about which one to go for i am really impressed with the E900 but will the D900 be a far better phone!!! please reply here or by mail.......... thanks alot :)
Hey, i had my E900 on monday, its taken some getting used to bt i really lyke it! The touch screen is a pain at times, bt other than that its great! Iv gt a memory card, bt im having trouble getting it out ov the phone! can any1 help??
Overall it is a great fone. Fab to look at and once you get used to the positions of the buttons, you're away!
Problem I find (and no-one else seems to mention it) is it takes about 2 minutes to connect a call. I have spoken to 02 and they say it's not the network it must be something to do with the fone. Has anybody else experienced this problem?
Also, nearly everytime I send a message it says 'sending message failed try sending again?'. I say yes and the message is sent successfully then the recepient writer back saying they got 2 messages from me. What's that all about?
One final complaint, I can't seem to send messages to numbers starting +44. I have to converet the +44 to a 0 everytime. pS I live in Liverpool, England!
Is this the fone or something else? It's driving me mad and I am thinking of dumping the fone for these reasons
