hi guys, can i noe does Samsung phones support themes? n does this phone support theme? thx
i agree with Robin's post below. I sent mine back after 24hrs. Drove me mad that you cannot set it to T9 as defult, however a friend has one and is stays on T9 !!! Maybe its a bug on some handsets. STupid ringtones and sensative cancel button were all too much too.
Yet to find a phone thats as good for me as Nokia 6230i, best phone I've ever had but looks are bit dated.
Trying SE K610 next.........
I'm considering this phone as well as the K800i K610i and W810i. I like the idea of the Sony phones as I have one already but I've never used a Samsung, so a couple of questions:
-Can you really not set a custom text tone?
-Can you can set T9 as the default text message input
-Does it include a USB data cable?
I will not buy another Samsung phone until YOU CAN USE MP3's AS MESSAGE TONES!
Surley this cannot be difficult to do.
Sort it out Samsung!
can anyone tell me if there is a white strip across the to[p of the screen when you putscreensavers etc on phone as all the previous samsung phones i have had have had
i don't think nokia 8800 and this e900 are in the same comparable level.
for features sure e900 is the winner. nokia 8800's features are average, it's the phone's material and build quality that stands out in 8800.
carphone wearhouse have it on t-mobile. been looking every day and finnaly its here
This is for all of you hesitant people. I also struggled with making the choice between the E900 and D900, but I opted for the E900. First off, the D900 is not out yet and probably won't be until the end of the year, if that. Unless you absolutely require quad-band and a higher than 2 MP camera, I would go with the E900. I like the flat slide form factor of the E900 better than the L-slide form factor of the D900; I don't like the little ledge on the bottom (that's why I returned the similar form factor T809/D820.
can i connect normal headphones with the e900? and does it take about 2 secs to take a picture like on the d600?? thanks!
i dont understand why people are having problems with messaging staying on predictive text. mine automatically remembers EVERYTHING that i do. it stays on predictive text all the time for me. maybe its a firmware thing?
I decided against the Samsung Z400 in favour of the E900, which looked stylish and more feminine. However, I find to my disappointment that predictive text (T9) cannot be set as a default so what is the point in having 250 texts in my monthly contract when I'm spending half my time setting and re-setting T9 every time I send a text and getting more frustrated when I'm part-way through writing a message only to realise that I forgot to set it to T9 AGAIN?! Samsung have failed miserably on this point. Because of this, the phone is going back!
I just bought the phone yesterday and it's quite simple to use but can anyone tell me how to take the keypad lock off so i can access the phone without sliding it open? My manual is in French and I havent had the time to go through the pdf English manual.
can anyone tell me if you can change the sms tones on the e900. and can you use mp3 format????????????????????
