hold down the # button to put the phone in vibrate mode.
The phone has one wakeup alarm (which will ring even if the phone is on vibrate) and 2 regular alarms which would only vibrate if the phone is on vibrate. You can set them to repeat once, repeat everyday, repeat every weekday or repeat everyday except sundays.
And yes, the phone has no testicles.
how do i put this phone on silent????? unlike other phones it has no profile options e.g. silent, loud, vibrate.
Can someone help x i need to no this b4 i go to a meeting
I heard that only the Russian firmware supports ringtone and vibration at the same time. Is this true? Does the phone really operate like the ancient D500?
how do you put this phone on silent mode???? i cant get it to turn of the ring tune or ne thin.
Can someone tell me, this phone is capable to set multiple alarm and can I set alarm for repeated but for specific days like sat,sun and monday only on the same time?

I'm so samsung fanatic!
You can't compare to other brand (s.e & nokia)espcially the style and quality of display.
No one can stop samsung to be NUMBER ONE
I just got yhis phone and am really really impressed -I had a p300 before but this is much better - the keys are great and it will hold full music tracks which you can download straight from your pc with no hassle at all-LOVE IT!!!!!
I have the e900 for a wile now and the only problem i had with it is that the touch sensitive buttons are too close here are some ups and down on the fone
-listen to music while exploring your fone and while playing games (up)
-record video clips for as long as u want, or until memory runs out (up)
-touch sensitive buttons (stilish but hard to operate) (down)
-prety good sound (up)
and thats pretty much it althogh i have 1 question wats the bluetooth version???
i think this phone is very good and it is hard to use if u are dumb and dont press the keys right, the phone has a good expandable memory, the camera is much sharper then the d600. overall i think this is the best phone i have ever had.
I’m considering buying the Samsung e900 and I have some questions to ask please e-mail me
1. Is the sound that cheap?
2. Can I take a picture without making any sound?
3. What is the maximum time to take video?
4. Does the touch pad work immediately or you have to keep touching it for long?
5. Can you make the phone ringing and vibrate in the same time?
6. Do you consider buying this phone or buying another one??
I love this phone had it about 2 months now excellent specs the keypad is hard to get use to. If your a left hander i cant see any problem right handers tend to hit the cancel button a lot but practise makes perfect. Brilliant screen the worse fault to me is the menu button being the left soft key and not the centre keep hitting the browser button
this fone is the worst fone i have ever had! ive had it for about 4 months now and it was the worst decision i ever made wanting this fone! everything on it is sooooooo complicated, u constantly end up cancelling a text msg because of the touch buttons! they are so close together! the battery life is ok bout 4days and the camera is gud but its not worth it! its really easy to scratch aswell! i would suggest that people wanting to buy this fone reconsider!! IM DISAPOINTED IN U SAMSUNG!
I've had the e900 for about a month now.
I upgraded from the d500 which i thought was a very good phone, simple interface good camera (for its day) and long battery life.
The e900 is awful compared to this.
The GUI is so tedious, the touch sensitive buttons are so close together that you have to take extra care when texting that you don't inadvertently press one the 'short cut' buttons which take you the 2 page text you were writing giving you the option of 'saving it to draft' and starting the whole process again or loosing it for ever.
The battery life is dire, i ran the battery right down when i got this phone and then charged it fully. I get a day from it at best (and yes bluetooth is off as is GSM)
I dont like the way the screen turns off after 5 second so you cant tell if you've left it on or what the time is at a glance.
I'm sending this back and would urge anyone to seriously reconsider other alternatives before buying this phone.
I've had my E900 for about 4 months now and I'm really at a loss with it. The features and everything are good on it I guess but it's really slow when trying to access Pictures,Videos and MP3 Player. I think the Keypad's pretty fiddly as well. You gotta have a lot of patience to have this phone!
