I think this is a great phone, still exploring it. Things people may/may not know (yes, I'm repeating some of the previous posts):
*The Power key is used to unlock/lock keys
*Silent is turned on/off by holding down the # key
*Holding down the volume button(s) on the left turns the flash on so it act's a torch
*Pressing 1 when watching video's makes it full screen
*It is possible to install new Java games and get the melody and vibration working at the same time but it requires a 'firmware' upgrade which can result in a screwed up phone.
I'm with the poster below - can't seem to get any tunes from my pc onto my phone. Would this be due to lack of memory card??
I was thinking about buyin the e-900 looks like a brilliant phone was just wondering if it has i-mode thanx
Ive had this phone bout 2 weeks and i must say i still feel the same every time i look at it to the first time i looked at it. Its an amazing and attractive bit of technology! the camera is great, and the fact you put a memory card in just tops it all off for me. People have been saying that the touch buttons are too sensitive but i totally dissagree, ive got particularly large fingers and i have no problem AT ALL!!! ive got it on contract but if your thinking of pay as you go with this phone, i say GO FOR IT!!!
can anyone tell me how to add music to this phone? i can't figure it out? Thanks for ur help!
hiya, this phone is the best, the quality of the camara is AMAZING and it has every function u could want, the only problem is i cant read my outbox, can anyone help...i think im just being stupid!
I've owned the E900 for about a month (I'm in the US) and here are my impressions; overall, very positive!
- No vibe and ring; vibration is slightly weak
- MP3 player is limited to four playlists at about 30 songs per playlist
- Middle button cannot be customized
- Calendar events limited to 100
- Call record is a bit too short (20 dialed / received / missed)
- No MP3 text message tones
The construction is not flimsy, although the top half rocks slightly when the phone is in the open position (it hasn't gotten worse since the time I bought it).
Got this phone yesterday and I love it!!! The camera is great and the touch keys take a bit of getting used to, but once you had it for an hour or so u get the hang of them. :) i would definitely recommend this phone to anyone.
could some1 tell me whether the camera is good or not? knowing that it has the same specs as the d600 i decided to read the review on
of the d600...the video quality was of v high quality (IS THIS THE SAME WITH THE e900???) please luk at the the samples on the link and tell me whether its the same?
Also the lack of autofocus affected the d600's capability to take close range photos without losing sharpness on photos...is this the same with e900?
basically can someone tell me although it is a 2mp camera on the e900 is it the same, better or worst than the d600?
Just Got this fone bout 5 dayz ago n im luvin it! tha camera an video iz amazin! tha mp3 is great! transfering music, pictures etv to and from tha fone is brilliant and so eazy! no one shud have any doubtz about this fone! is excelent!
Just ordered this phone on contract and seem to be regretting it after reading some of your opinions, my phone arrives tomorrow, should i send it back and get either "Nokia N73" (3.2 MP camera) or the "D900" (3.15 MP Camera) post your views please, bear in mind the D900 is as big as a razor!!
I'm pretty happy with my E900. What I don't like:
- Number of Calendar items limited to 100 (should be unlimited)
- Vibrate only before ring, not in parallel
- Email client weird (recently downloaded messages >3 months old from pop server)
Do any firmware upgrades exist to fix these problems?
hi.... can you have any tone for your messages??
im also thinking of wanting the d900 which one do you think is best?? :S
omg had this fone for jst ova a wk .......... N I LUV IT

hi been looking at phones recently and im confused what to get theres so many these days.
should i buy thye e900 or not ??
it looks nice but is it good?
this phone does alot of things..its just that you DONT KNOW how to do it
1)transfering java from cpu to the e900 needs another special program i think its optiflash but not sure..
2)when was the moto c115 out?!
3)usually how do u search ur contacts if its not by the first letters?! u do it by using the last letters i guess..
4)well for this one i have nothing to say..the middle screw me out too
5)well actually compared to SE with QCIF res. samsung has CIF as resolution and SE are "considered as the best"
6)just read the manual dude
7)yes u can answer phone when its down..press the unlock key/power(its gonna unlock the pphone when its down) and then press the answer key
8)keys can be turned off by putting the phone in silent mode!! or u can turn them off and keep the ringtone by going in the sound setting menu..
oh yeah btw the firware is the latest one from samsung not like their previews phone so i dunno what ure talking about but its like the best they have done in a century loll
just press the power button on the right it serves as the un/lock key
Many of you are wondering how to unlock telephone when it's down. Just press the power button on the right side, and that is that.
