Samsung Exhilarate for AT&T is official, coming June 10

Samsung AT&T Android Touch UI

Finally, after six months of mystery, AT&T has finally announced the launch and specs of the Samsung Exhilarate. The LTE-enabled Android smartphone is going to hit the AT&T stores after all, unlike the Samsung Skyrocket HD, which didn't have that luck and got cancelled.

The Exhilarate is built around a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and a 1.2GHz dual-core Scorpion CPU to do the heavy lifting. It runs Android 2.3 and takes advantage of a 5MP rear camera for 720p video recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video conferencing.

With midrange specs, the smartphone won't live up to its Exhilarate moniker for most tech enthusiasts, but Samsung boast it to be extremely environmentally friendly. In fact, its rear casing is made from 80% recycled materials, which makes it a tree-huggers' best friend.

Expect the Samsung Exhilarate to appear on the AT&T shelves on June 10 for the good price of $50 with a contract.

Yeah because 2.3 is just so old. So outdate...I mean we are only on the next version uf from that. All low and mid ranged phones should immediately just jump to 4.0. How silly of them. Luckily there are smart people like you.
