I have been experiencing the same problem. you need to leave the phone for a couple of minutes and then it starts working again. Its no use giving the phone for repairs.

I have this phone for a month now and I must say I am rather dissapointed. As we speak my phone it is at the repair shop due to drop calls. It started from the beginning and numerous websites report on this. I changed to samsung after more and more dissapointing phones from sonyericsson and now I wish I stayed with SE. Even though SE gives lots of compromised phones they are still good for making calls.

I purchased this phone 2 weeks ago and must say I have had no regret, my main concern was the ring tone volume which I was advised that volume is excellent...and so it is, just loving it!!!!

cguy, 10 Jan 2009you cant change the standby/ locked wallpaper. its annoying at first, but you get used to it e... morerubbish! pull the photo's widget on to the screen from the side tab, select the image you want, and the standby screen is changed!

maz, 12 Jan 2009can anyone please tell me if the phone is slow? ive heard off one person that the phone is slo... moreJustgot one today and the response time to open things up is fine. first Samsung I've been happy with in years. only downfall if anything I can find is the typically slow camera response time when the flash is on, but this is the case of all phones that have decent cameras these days. guess that's just the compromise you have to make when you combine the two devices in a small package.Go for it!

I was wondering if u can change the background color to black instead of white? It only lets me change the main menu colour (black and white).
