Paul, 01 Dec 2008That is right. All samsungs are like this and it is a pain. You can get the number by pressing... morewhy wud u put a few numbers under da same name anyway? nearly all phones only show da name u save da number under! dat complaint doesn't apply to only samsung phones!

I was very interested because the 8G storage capability. The F480 accept only 2G! I was very disappointed!

Hi,
I just got this phone - its awesome - i love it.
Except i dont know how to pair it up with my Laptop via Bluetooth, every time i try it says connection failed :-( i dont know why it does this, please help.

I've recently chosen this phone to be given to me by my parents for my birthday. I did alot of playing around with it before choosing it. It has great handling, many shop assistants I spoke to like this phone it responds quickly, has a good look (very sleek), quite thin (for a touch phone), has room for an SD card (turning it into a digital phone) and a high resolution screen. I personally adore this phone- but it is a good idea to use it a bit, and compare it to other phones before deciding- it may not be to everyones taste

The name you saved the number to shows. What does'nt show is the number. This is true with messages. So if you have multiple numbers under one name, when you receive a call or message from said name, the number being/or used is not shown.

it's great looks and sleek design have attracted me a lot .. 3hrs talk time is fine .. features are very good but the only thing is response time is high compared to HTC(touch screen)..Though we don't need a stylus, some times we will be forced to apply reasonable pressure on the touch screen. When I have checked online I thought of buying either HTC Touch diamong or this Samsung F-480. Both looks very good here on web but when we see then we will be bowled by F-480. We cannot resists ourselves ..thats it.

YES, u can lock anything u want,and its very easy to write because u know if u type it becvause it has touch back,i never liked touchscreen phones but this is great,and for the other question yes this is better than LG,and that sonny ericcson 905, trust me i know,and its short and thin and great,
