jonah, 17 Nov 2008its ok pare...one more thing how can i activate my video call its always saying (unavailable)-... moreEven if ur in UMTS (3G) mode and under 3G coverage, if you're not or have not subscribed to video calling, you can't avail of it. If you are video called by a subscribed caller, then ur on. This service is provider dependent.

preety, 17 Nov 2008hi.. when i dial *#6984125*#....it says incorrect data please helpOw... 1st time I hear that. What is your FW version? If your fone is OK, no need to go to admin settings. There is not much to be done in there anyway...

Anonymous, 17 Nov 2008-YES you can assign a ring tone to a certain person, -NO you cant assign a certaini message ... moreYou don't have to stick to Samsung tones for the message alert. You can use your own mp3's for example.

-YES you can assign a ring tone to a certain person,
-NO you cant assign a certaini message tone to a certain person
-YES you have to stick with samsungs tones for your message tone
-YES the speaker is good
And as for blocking numbers so they dont text you, phone your network up they will block them!

Video calling (3G) is available with all our service providers here. I just don't know the rate/minute. No idea yet with blocking messages with the phone settings. I guess you really have to go to your service provider as PP$8 posted.

Hi all,
Just tried to copy MS WORD, EXCEL, PDF, .TXT files on F480 via bluetooth. Copied easily.
When clicked on the file names, it open browser and what, man the bowser opens these file without any delay and without any MS office or Adobe software on the phone. Only thing is that u can view these files and not edit.
Just wanted to share with u all.

Its a freeeware and converts vdo of any format to any format. U can convert ur .avi, .mpeg etc to mp4 or 3GP which can run on F480.
