Hi..Just bought this phone and loving it..However, there are few problems that I've encountered and I hope someone can shed some light on it.
1. How do you make the sms saved in the phone memory as default? It seems to go straight to the sim card and i need to delete or move it every time.
2.Can the fonts be changed? Or can I put additional language?
Thanks..Its an okay phone but not perfect though..

Does anyone know how to activate the DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) setting witin the phone??? or is this setup and sent from the provider ie: Telstra, Optus etc????
(have F480) but can not activate DTFM tones for phone backing etc???
help please.

i am interested in buying this phone but with all the bad reviews i am reconsidering. i read it has great features and seem like a phone i would buy . could someone tell me if it is a good phone with limited complication, i cannot afford to waste my money.

Yousef, 02 Jan 2010If i touch kamera in My f480 don,t open and amasseg apear (hw not suborted with sw)+my mobile ... moreare you using the front camera? i think the front camera is used only for video calls.

WORST MOBILE PHONE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE
I bought this fone days after it was released.
In the end it is now in the trash.
After 10 weeks I found the fone turning off by itself and the screen turning blue. It later froze up. I took it to a centre and in the end it couldnt be fixed. Dont buy this fone because in the end you will regret it. Remember a better fone called Nokia 5530 which i have bought and am enjoying.

Great phone but the 5MP camera was a let down. The autofocus usually messes up the shot and makes it slightly blurry. Can one turn Autofocus off?? and It takes like 5 seconds to capture the shot when u press to shoot a pic? any help please?

Hey all, just bought this phone, finding it okay... not the best but not all bad either, just wondering, how do I download free games? I've gone to the website of the downloads and the download link never shows up.

im having trouble reading ebooks/ documents on my phone..the font's too small and when focused its hard to read coz u need to move it left and right then up and down..how can i read ebooks using this phone without doing so..or are there sites where i can download an ebook reader for samsung phones? can you please please please help me with this..thanks.

well i just lost this phone it is a great losss and it is a great phone nice camera with masiive sound is was my playground and a friend as well..nice look as well great features and lovely gallery.i miss my phone

I have had this phone since june 2008 and must say that is by far the best phone i've ever had! No problems with it, not once,never freeze, never turns itself off and i didnt manage to scratch it no matter what i've had in my pocket!I have dropped it so many times and it still works perfectly,nothing broken or damaged and it fell on pavement, down the stairs etc. watching films and pictures is a superb quality, i just cant beleive!
music sound is great as samsung were one of the first phones with music player out so they do know what they are doing!
trust me, its worthy!

hii listen i have seen some reviews and i am not to sure bout gettin it now can some1 plzz tell me if this phone is gd im not a person who expects extreme phones im not fussy but does it drop in calls ???

I have 480l,for six months after 4 monhts the touch screen stopped responding, have to squeeze top to work it, the response time for anything off the memory card is about 30seconds to view a pic or to open folder. (Never dropped phone) won't recommend

could anyone plz tell me how to receive my mails on this phone. It asks for somekind of POP3 settings which i'm not aware of... Any suggestions, other than that the phone is cool...
