How do I change the SMS alert tone? I can't seem to find that anywhere. Or is it not an option? I would appreciate any info' regarding this. Cheers.

Everytime someone calls me it says unknown caller and acts as if it is a provate number missed calls can't be returned. All the numbers r in my phonebook so it isnt that???

It's not practical at all, every few days it's software is currupted some how and needs software reinstallation, also it's internet and phone features is very basic - you can do almost nothing -, the camera features is rich but the picture is not much, I suggest not to buy unless they come with a brand new software for it.

hiiiiiiiiii i m also user of samsung f480 mobile ...
it has good touch screen
but no complete 3gp video result, bec. lcd big pixel(320*240) problem
and no more sound in head phone, camera result is so poor in deem light,
no gps, no qwerty key board, no new great function, no camera lens safety cover,

Very low quality camera below average....but good touch response. Classy looks, nice solid built n good music quality through headphones but the speaker output is poor again!

denise, 15 May 2009bad camera very very very bad.looks dull and fuzzy. die nikie n73 with 3.2 mp is much better. ... moreWhen you take a picture in this phone,the image is sometimes fuzzy because of its high resolution.the phone resl is only 320 x 240. Any picture above the phone‘s resl will become blurry. So the best thing you can do is to decrease the resl to 320 x 240.and i assure you,your pictures will become much better in your phone. But the good thing of having big resl in your pictures is that,when you will going to transfer it to your computer which much higher resl than your phone,it will be what your are expectiNg. The higher the resl the better the picture is. Its always a standard in the imaging world. But take note,the higher the resl the bigger the file size of your image. hope this enlighten the issue.its not a problem with the camera,but only an issue of setting the resl. If you may want to test ,try taking a picture which is above 320 x 240 and compare it with a picture taken in 320 x 240.and you will see the difference.

i so love this phone and want to get it like real soon. i seee having problems with their F480 (tocco) simple return it and get a new one its obvious that something is wrong with that one. thumbs up samsung great phone.

Got this Tocco fone for a month now. Wow ! No call drop, no low volume so far. Camera is superb. Battery is excellent. Very sensitive and responsive touch screen inspite of the protective screen cover. Nice work Samsung.
