has anyone had problems with the 8gb memory card with this phone, I am wanting to put the 8gb in the phone but dont want to waste cash if it is not supported as a previous persons note says it wont. has anyone got an 8gb in the phone and does it work ok? Thanks everyone

I am using an 8GB sd card for my Samsung F480 and I don't have any problems. I can access my files without any fuss. I don't know what is happening to your F480, but I suggest that you upgrade the firmware because that can help the performance of your F480, as in 100 percent!
Since it is touchscreen, the display is not that good compared to non-touchscreen phones but the picture quality is superb! Try to transfer your pictures to your PC and you will see what I mean.
My current firmware is F48FXEIA1, it has new widgets, new fonts, pink focus colour and black background on the main menu.
I love this phone ever!!!!!

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2009hello just bought this model of phone and i cannot seem to see any contact details for incomin... moreTo have incoming caller information shown on your screen, go to Menu -> Settings -> Phone Settings -> Show Caller Information -> Activate "on" or "off". Hope this helps.

this fone is below my expectations...its slow in responce. lags and pic quality is not all that..watch out for the new sasung f500 its replacing the f480 b/c of the glitches!

I had this phone for almost a month now and all I can say is "I don't like it because I LOVE IT"!
Picture quality is very good. Viewing it from your phone's screen is quiet tricky because it is not that clear but wait until you transfer it to your PC. My pictures were superb!
The superior style and design, touchscreen is very responsive, music quality is also adorable, the weight and thickness of F480 is perfect for me! Colour is fantastic, I have seen gold, black, pink and ice silver! Price is right!
I suggest you buy this phone, this is my first Samsung phone and I never regret I bought it!

this phone is awesome! great! nice one samsung! i already using this fone for quite a months and i didn't encounter any problems! unlike with 800 it's hangy! so DON'T BUY NOKIA 5800! I LOVE SAMUNG F480

Hello.
This phone to me is not bad as i want to get it too...and texting is east just like normal phone...cause it is touch screen and it can sense your every touch...i just tried out the phone yesterday and it is dam cool...
