There seems to some competetion brewing between two sellers on EBAY India. The phone is now available for Rs 12,650 plus a gift from Ebay if u buy before 4th Oct. Its a steal.(hint : Dont buy from Deal of the week section, buy from other seller who is not listed in deal of week section)

All you Samsung Focus owners out there in India update your mobile to latest Mango update from MS without any hesitation, No locking issues, I have recently got this mobile and updated it yesterday to Mango. Awesome experience, Great UI, worth updating to Mango. Any trouble in updating send me a reply, will gladly assist you. All the best.

guys.. any of you face any issue with the internet connectivity. At times, i get disconnected and the internet and other internet related apps like facebook and all does not work :(

All those who bought Samsung focus in india just hit the mango update button, do not worry about locking the device after updating. I am in final stages of Mango update, will post my review after finishing the update!

[deleted post]I dont think, the mobile will be locked after upgrade to mango. Because only from microsoft site you will get update. There is no concern with samsung or at&t.

aditya, 24 Sep 2011 guys i'm from india n thinking to book a focus from ebay INDIA ,is it a good idea or is there... morethey will have a problem, as they will be locked as soona s you update to the latest version of the OS - windows phone 7.5 mango
and focus has been having several freezing and re-booting issues as well, so buying without warranty is not at all recommended !

Well I think the air is getting negative for this phone. Now to clear some doubts of some people i have few things to say. Don't be worried about teh warranty. Lets face it and it's true that I have not seen anybody to benefit from the warranty especially for samsung touch phones. The only problem could be that since it is not available in India any hardware problem would be difficult to solve. Apart from that it is the best windows phone available as can be judged by watching the reviews on youtube. Windows 7 platform is fantastic. Apps will surely increase and after mango update we can see very important updates happening.
I have already the phone for 12,850 with 3 month emi option from cart2india and even got 650 cash back on my hdfc credit card.
It's again listed on ebay at 12,500.
In US u will get the same with contarct for 99$.
Now common for this price, this phone is a steal. You can possibly do everything with the phone and with outlook in the phone and the fastest browsing experience, it will be a real fun as i already have wifi at home
Just waiting for my phone to arrive
will update more in some days.
