Someone please answer me i really want to know this. Can you search for a song by gradual typing? Simply because i put so many songs on my phone, and it would take alot of time scrolling down to the songs, so can i go to the song by typing in the first letter of that song or not? thanks for your help

i have this phone but its really not texter friendly... i tried saving loads of messages to be sent for christmas and it started deleting my pre-stored messages because i saved new ones. sheez! it was really annoying and its ahrd to text in it i just find it connvenient to take pictures, music player and just a phone that i can have for calls im going to buy a new one where i can teext message easier. besides from the testing problems all features are great specially the touch screen!

2. And, to watch a movie on the external screen, place it in the "My Videos" folder on either the phone's memory or the memory card.

You can also watch movies/videos that way. And I too have the G400 in the U.S.A. I downloaded the UK firmware without a problem. If you're having trouble doing this, I recommend you completely uninstall PC Studio from your computer (including all drivers) and then reinstalling it. Once installed, follow the instructions I gave.

is it just mine or what? when u take pic, the colour of the pic will change 30/40% after u pressed snap. it's even worse at night, up to 80%!!

Maybe newer models have the firmware already? I got mine about a month ago, and I have no problem reading messages on the touch screen...

I have installed both the pc studio 3 and the phone software updater. Once I start the phone software update (step 2 - checking phone info) it states that it does not support the information on my phone but I have a g400. Can someone please hep me with this.

no,you CAN NOT.it is invalid and says open phone to check new message-that is why i need that firmware update

Incase no one noticed, you CAN read text messages on the outside display. In order to do that, you must have the external display not on hold. If it's not on hold then you can touch and open the text message to read it.
