I love it!! I wouldn't mind bying one meself!! But I've got my samsung d900 last year and want to keep it for another 2-3 years b4 i get a new one!! Well done Samsung!!
i hate samsung OS .... why cant it be like nokia or SE.more friendly and cheerfull not dull as samsung. that why samsung never be my choice. if i had it for free. i will sell it for sure. its is a loser to use samsung phone.
Its the best camera ever i like too see if the other brands can make a camera phone like this i love the phone Samsung rocks with this one you cant tell me i am wrong
Can i ask if the keypad feels comfortable as I too am a major texter like you. Please advise. Also, is the slide solid?
I both agree and disagree with The Captain
Yes its true that in areas with good lighting, you can get an amazing picture. And it's true, the G800 has very poor ability to capture pictures in lowlight conditions, even with the xenon flash.
The one thing i don't agree with, is that not all pictures in the dark come out blurry. I have taken 250 pictures with my G800 to date, of the pictures, only about 30 were blurry, and that was mostly when i take a pictures with one hand. Although some were blurry because of the lack of light, usually if the picture is within about 2 meters in the dark, the pictures still come out crisp
As a phone the G800 is good, very well built and a nice looking slider.BUT as a camera it is not very good.In brightly lit conditions(sunny) you can get a good picture but in dim conditions inside or out most pitures will be blurred, even with anti-shake and face recognition applied.Samsung got this camera wrong, which I hope is a firmware issue, because on paper this should be the best camera phone to date.

That's not so with this model. You CAN use Mp3's for textones...
Well, it's been stated officially, that G800 takes the best phones, and GSMARENA even did a battle with K850i. Blurry pictures are expected on all cameras, but I must still say G800 has the best pics.
It's a lovely phone & seems very attractive, though I must point out, that it is VERY VERY chunky. I was shocked to see it's depth. It really put me off.
On the first charge, the G800 lasted me about 1.5 days
My second charge lasted me about 3 days
I'm a major texter and i was listening to music for about 2 hours on both charges on max volume. As for speaker volume, i cant say its amazing, but its good enough for me, i dont have the n81 so icant compare for you
hope this helps =D
can someone tell me hows the battery life like? Also, does the mp3 sound good on this phone? Having a nokia n81 8gb but the speakers seems to be not balanced.
I REALY CANT SEE WHY SOME OF YOU GUYS SAY G800 TAKE GOOD PICTURES ??????
just see for your self what you think.
mostly of all G800 pics i look at on Flickr.com look quite blurry....not good at all..sorry if i smash your dreams, but G800 dosent take good pictures.
Hi i need to know. What shall i get the G800 or the G600, im thinking the G800 i don't mind the chunkiness but need advice.
I'm using Mp3 for my Ring tone and Textone..
Hope this helps
