ElK, 26 Mar 2022Mine restarts too by itself after the last updateSince getting March 1, 2022 security patch level, my phone only restart once till now (touch wood). At least not that frequent anymore.
Samsung Galaxy A01, not a bad phone. It performs all basic functions. It is basic entry level phone that you can keep as secondary. I am using it for a year. I am happy with its performance. It should have 32 gig memory. It also has a Little bit short battery time.

It's not too bad, definitely better than the core version. It's pretty small and has a camera that's near mediocre but it's battery is good enough and 2gb of ram isn't too bad.
The storage is beyond horrible, besides that, it's decent.
Just bought this as a backup for 15$ (from TracFone) have the moto g power (2020) great phone! I don't expect any thing great from the a01 as long as it works!
Rana, 20 Feb 2022Yupp same havin this issue show's last December security update and restarts time to time 😞Mine's security patch level: January 1, 2022 which cause the intermittent restart. I shouldn't have update to Android 11 too, made the phone slightly slower. It was snappier with Android 10. It's the update notification which annoys me to finally upgrade to Android 11. Could not disable the update notification. Grrrrr....

Samsung Galaxy A01 is released as an entry-level smartphone that has been unveiled quietly at the market in the month of December 2019. The Galaxy A01 has a display of 5.7 inches that provides 720 x 1560 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A01 is integrated with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage while the internal storage can be increased with the help of a microSD card up to 512 GB (dedicated slot).
The smartphone features a dual camera that consists of 13 MP (wide) AF + 2 MP depth sensor on the rear side while on the front there is a single-camera 5 MP.
There is an active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic along with a 3.5mm jack. It also features GPS, Bluetooth, and FM Radio. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 runs on the Android 10.0 operating system with One UI 2. Overall it's simply fine
Ugluke1, 10 Mar 2022Thus phone is complete ass. 1 it's storage is so bad it's laughable. 2 lodging times... moreYes i agree it is a bad phone but not like the way you described it, i have been using it for over a year now and it keeps surprising me everyday with a new feature, the only real bummer about this smartphone is storage and bloatware but to me it's not a problemo cause i moved all demanding apps to SD CARD. On camera can't complain, mono speaker it's a banger, the snapdragon 439 and the 2gig ram makes it snappy. Even after the security patch update January 2022 i never experienced any anomalies.
atma83, 26 Jan 2022Is it good ? What is it deficiency?Bought this piece of crap recently, now can not access "settings", apparently needs updating by an engineer,, fit for nothing, avoid at all costs...
Snoozicat, 13 Feb 2022Hands down, the worst phone EVER! Crappy internal memory, that runs out whenever you start us... moreThus phone is complete ass. 1 it's storage is so bad it's laughable. 2 lodging times are hella slow.3 the screen feels like I'm rubbing on plastic that tried to be glass so this phone is ass and I'd give it a 1/10 for even turning on
This model is not good beacuse i try my better to restart te mobile bexause the seting are not working
this phone isn't good or bad (decent). it works well for doing the basics functions and so on. it can play games fairly good from my experience, (runs great ''mostly'') (however the 1 problem is that after any update happens it will become choppy and slow down so be prepared to backup and reset the phone and wipe cache to fix that problem. also sadly the phone is limited to 32gb storage and 2gb ram at most so yeah. rooting it in general wont work 100% because from what I heard is that you lose wifi connection on it. ( I didn't test the root for myself on the A01 so it maybe, not true but still is a risk) overall from 2 years experience the phone is annoying but works with fixes. (highly recommend you buy another budget phone but the A01) but no hate on the A01 its a working phone that has minor issues of performance and lowish storage. :)
A01 User for 1 Year, 08 Feb 2022Anyone having this intermittent restart issue after the latest update? There's no pro... moreYupp same havin this issue show's last December security update and restarts time to time 😞
Hands down, the worst phone EVER!
Crappy internal memory, that runs out whenever you start using the phone as a regular smartphone...installing a few useful apps. A touchscreen that has rubbish sensitivity, and a truly shit battery.
I foolishly bought this phone 'cos my real phone fell in the toilet, and died. A bad purchase. NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG A01, IT'S A SHIT PHONE.
Anyone having this intermittent restart issue after the latest update?
There's no problem when update to android 11. It's the latest security update which caused it to restart once every 1 or 2 days.
It's a freakin 60 bucks smartphones, go for root and uninstal bloatware u don't need, use adopt external storage for more space to carry ur selfie and swap memory for better multitasking. I've using this A01 for 1 year and it's working perpect as my secondary phone with my Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's small, minimalist, and it's cheap. 3000 mAh is shit, but it's fine since i'm only use it for youtube, spotify, twitter and whatsapp. Still recommend this if u a creative bullshit with 100$ in ur pocket.
