Was going to buy a Samsung Galaxy A01 core, but after reading these reviews I will steer well clear, would have been the worst £100 I spent.

Samsung would be a better brand if they stopped manufacturing phones that doesn't heat up, and phones that has weak battery life. I wouldn't advise even my enemy to buy Samsung Mid range phones because Samsung do mess up when manufacturing them. I have been using this phone for six months; everything's fine except the battery drain. It takes as long as 4 hours to charge this phone and 3 hours to shut down from 100% on normal usage, and then 30 minutes of browsing or using app the phone becomes so hot

Just bought this phone two days ago and now beginning to like it then bang....the phone starts to shut down and restart while watch vidoes on Facebook and otherwise.. Can anyone explain what could be the problem?

I am really happy with this phone. The camera isn't that great but that was expected. The performance is amazing for a phone with just 1GB of ram. The battery seems to last even longer after the June software update.

Samsung can you please unblock Ao1 core from use in mirror plug im so disappointed i wanted to upgrade from my J2 core to the Ao1 core but d J2 core as more features and works perfectly with mirror plug ez cast ect

The only problem I have is about the blue tooth , automatically disconnect , and after starting the car don't go automatically a having to turn manual, the seeting is off for disconnect automatically when is not in use

I have owned this phone for about 6 months now, and have been dissapointed. Even though it was cheap, it has not been worth the price.
There are almost daily issues:
- Chrome 'page used too much memory' results in inoperative webpages
- Apps don't run in background, so navigation apps stop giving directions if the screen turns off or if you open another app
- Regularly doesn't wake up with power button press - you have to try 3/4 times. I don't think this is a hardware issue.
There are bugs:
- Opening calendar app from notification results in notification bar over calender app in an odd way
- I have been stuck in the camera app with the back/home/settings bar not visible so there is no way to exit it
- Formatting SD card fails for large cards - you have to format it on your computer
While I still use it, it's only because I don't want to throw more any money at a chunk of plastic/glass. My advise is: look elsewhere for a phone. There are probably better ones in this price range.

many people in the comments that i've seen experienced the phone shuts down unintentionally, i've experienced this when i turned off the screen when opening telegram apps.
but turns out it just the screen that won't turn on caused by a app bug or something, i managed to turn the screen on again by tapping the power button, it opened the camera app and the screen is turned on again.

just bought this phone a while ago with 2/32gb memory, ran a battery test with it,
20 to a 100% charge takes up like 2 hours, screen-on-time at 6 hours under normal use (web browsing, chatting, instagram, youtube) (100 to 20%).
up to 8 hours screen on time on wi-fi only (100 to 20%).
the physical size is actually pretty small,
about the same size as my sadly, broken Redmi 4x.
not bad for a second hand price at just $56 here in indonesia.

The phone is missing alot of simple, common, normal features that other, lesser quality phones seem to have. Also it has alot of security restrictions. Honestly i don't know why they keep degrading the devices; some of the older versions are better than the new ones. And for such of well know company, I'm a little (VERY) disappointed.
