It gets cr... more1st A02 had to be sent back at 2 months, phone goes crazy, apps open and close by themselves, starts typing by itself, .I had no phone for 3 days waiting for replacement. Clerk told me I probably overcharged it. Fast forward 1 1/2 years later and this phone is doing tge same thing.ghost keys. We we n it goes crazy It opens apps and jumps from screen to screen, it actually made 2 calls. Phone was sitting on table and I heard someone saying hello. You can't shut it off or stop it when this happens which is getting more frequent. Totally unusable. If you holding it you can feel it jumping around, feels like it's the battery. Totally unusable while this is going on. Worst phone ever.
Anonymous, 14 Aug 2023I had this phone from March 22, 2022 up until April of 2023, it was alright and got the job do... moretake it to the repair shop and they'll flatten the mid frame and replacing the display. just like new.

you have to suffer, 06 Sep 2023how to downgrade even more then? like android oreo.. would that work?I think Samsung a02s can only be downgraded to at least Android 10 as it was freshly announced with Android 10. For me, Android 10 is good enough. Removing some bloatware can make your phone feel smoother and light

I had this phone from March 22, 2022 up until April of 2023, it was alright and got the job done but games barely ran, I'd recommend this for maybe a first phone but it's not that good otherwise, I'd recommend getting something at least a bit better. The first bit of physical damage to the phone I will admit was my fault, I chucked it at a table and it was literally bent, the screen didn't crack, the phone itself was just bent slightly, but it was so minor that I didn't even notice it until I set it down and noticed it didn't lay flat. A few months later, I dropped it (I had only dropped it a couple times since it bent and they were all very short drops) and the screen broke, which wasn't that big of a deal, but over the course of the next week it slowly got way worse, one day I woke up, turned the phone on and noticed some spots on the screen had a yellow-ish tint which I thought was odd but continued, and then later the same day, I dropped it again and when I picked it up there were a few dead pixels but then it slowly got worse until the phone was no longer useable. It still technically powers up but the screen is unuseable.

This is the worse phone I ever purchased I would take a flip phone over this piece of garbage do not purchase this phone these so called phones need to be destroyed

For some reason, Samsung decided that the 2GB / 32GB model
(can't comment on 4GB RAM / 64GB model) will run 32-bit Android despite the chipset being 64-bit capable. You can't use 64bit only apps despite the hardware Supporting it!

Bought this phone on impulse for $60. Never looked at any reviews until after it had arrived. Yes it is slow to open up initially, and the camera has a,very slow response when taking pictures. That being said I have captured some really nice pictures mostly taken outside. The battery takes a while to recharge probably because it is long lasting. I play some games on the phone and watch movies on it and am pleased with the screen quality. Was much more satisfied with the phone when I found a phone case that had volume control button covers that were very responsive to the touch. Texts and phone call programs seem to work fine. I realize this is not a Cadillac phone and some people might have received "lemon" phones that had lots of glitches thus their disappointment with the ao2s. Have had mine for about a year but always looking to see what samsung comes up with if the price is right. Have noticed that even other high priced phones from other companies drop calls, have text glitches, etc.

Camera and gaming doesn’t perform well at all… snapdragon 450 is known to be slow. After owning this phone for 2 years, I switched to a snapdragon 800+ phone and its better for basically twice this phones price.

best phone so far, what you pay thats what you get, working perfect for 2 years almost, no lag, its like just wine , oldest it gets better and better time by time. I highly recommend this phone to everyone, buy it trust me, its excellent phone with good price, well done samsung, dont listen to people who says bad about this phone, 80% of comments are false.

Very bad phone. The 4gb ram felels like 2gb. My phone is 64gb and don´t work well. It gets crazy and I have to block it and wait a few seconds until I can use it again. Is not normal. The CPU speed is not great. Is my worst Samsung phone.
