You should have asked for a new one on the spot.
if i buy samsung a3 and connect it to tv via miracast, will i be able to use wi-fi for internet. i plan also to connect a mouse via bluetooth and watch you tube and surf the net from my couch, and have youtube or other movies displayed on tv
I buy this phone for my oldest son, I living in Costa Rica. This phone is very elegant, nice design. the body is very thin. The performance for this phone is excelent, the display is very clearly and good colors. in the hand it feels solid. I read some comments to problems with a few days of use, but I think that this it's just bad luck. You can not Judging from a phone to have a manufacturing defect or transportation damage.
I vote with 9-9-9 because this phone is Very, very elegant and work to my son.
indeed for the birthday of my youngest now in May will buy one identical, And I want buy and A5 for my second phone line.

I had my A3 11 days when it died on me. I took it back to the agent and an agent looked at it and said there was a problem with the settings. He "fixed" this and the phone worked for 48 hours. It died again. I tried searching the network and kept getting an message that said "Error while searching network." I took it back to the agent who did a sim swap. Two hours later when I switched the phone on it was as dead as ever. I went back to the agent. It was sent it for repairs and I was informed it would cost me R1726,98 to fix it as there is "physical damage" to the sim card reader. I didn't do ANYTHING to damage the phone. It is obvious there was a problem with the phone from the beginning but it only showed up after 11 days. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work that out.To anyone with a few well functioning brain cells that is obvious. I am thoroughly disappointed with Samsung phones and will never to choose to have one again. I now have a new cell contract but am still using my old phone.
I had purchased Samsung GALAXY A3 phone on 24th February 2015 from Mumbai . The phone screen used to blank out & went blank out from next week from date of purchase. But was rectified automatically. But still continued to go blank automatically for few seconds & come back to normal. Never thought it would be a permanent issue .But on 17th April the phone went blank & after persistently trying power on & off the screen din not turn on. I checked with the authorised Samsung service centre on 17th April itself, they said the display screen is crack & damaged due to hard pressing & physical abuse.
This is to bring to you notice the phone was barely used for few days & was often at home as a second phone. How does a new phone screen panel gets damaged & crack in one & half month.
Also when the phone was purchased from the store, the sales person banged the phone against the shelf to demonstrate the strong amoled screen & said it is very strong & does not break easily even when applied force.
Samsung Customer service has been of no help & has been continuously saying that the phone is physically damaged by the user & have to pay for the repair. They have a scripted text reply each time I call up. Samsung is using cheap quality spare parts & of Chinese quality which do not last long. Please do not buy this Phone , if any one is considering to do so .

Yes .. this fon got lagging problem. but its seem more fast and im very enjoying it after im installing "power clean" better than heavy "clean master" or whatever apps i try a lot ... plus.. other thing that make my fon fast is im using "wipe secure" ..the real apps making my fon as new ... i use it once a week.. but ur fon must have memory card installed even 1gb... or the "wipe secure" apps will not working. seriusly... try it... and u will love dis fon...even other samsung fon.. already tried to my fren's samsung note 2 ... so efisien with this two apps (power clean & secure wipe ) .. good performance also for battery.
I will order the A3 but I am not sure about the colour...
Should it be white or silver in terms of durability?
I do not want to have to use a protection cover.

I just bought this Samsung A3 three weeks only and the phone is not charging,went to the Samsung outlet in Tropicana City Mall and they told me to use a new charger and I plug in the new charger and the phone is still not charging, can they change a new phone for me, I have bought a faulty phone, just 3 weeks old and have problems
