iShowSpeed, 10 Nov 2024Install Android 14 One ui 6 custom rom S22 port on this, This phone will work soo good. A YouT... moreI have installed S22 One Ui 6 port on a Samsung A30, however, it has bugs and it's quite prone to bootlooping — it'll not brick the phone though.
Taking pictures on a main (rear) camera had a chance of freezing – and it'll took 1-2 minutes to force close app. Not even a disabled scene optimizer/auto HDR will fix it, i suggest using a 3rd party camera app for this one.
Animations are rather slow, i also suggest going in for 0.5x animations on the developer settings OR use the adb method for SystemUI Tuner App. I adjusted mine to 0.6 or 0.65
Lastly, Performance is still the same compared to the original software (OneUI 3.1 Android 11). It's just that powering the phone on will take even longer than I've expected.
As for me, to prevent my phone from using too much — or entirely — Ram usage that causes bootloops, i changed my background process to "at least 2 process", it worked just fine and usable.
If you've installed TWRP, using "wipe" without clearing "internal storage" will also help if it'd bootlooped just so you don't have to worry about your pictures.
REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR OFFICIAL SOFTWARE BEFORE CHANGING THE ROM
Overall, it's a very cool ported custom rom, it runs 50/50 on a Samsung A30 in my opinion.

Yesterday my mom said to me that her Samsung A30 died while charging so I checked it and it doesn't charge or give any signs of life. She also pointed out that when she came back to pick the phone the back cover falls or removed it self so its possible its heating so much that the glue came off.
Do you know guys what's the problem why my mom's samsung a30 does not give any signs of life even when plugging it in?

after try custom rom, The best way to use this phone. Installed android 13 on phone stuck at a11, battery just poor and need quickly charger 💀

Using it for 5 years and it can still go on for 1-2 for lightweight use only, back panel glue is coming out, good camera

Samsung Galaxy A30 has Always-on-display function. It is optional, you can switch it on and off.
