My Galaxy A30's animations feel smoother after the Android 11 update, but have noticed applications opening slower, or lagging heavily due to more RAM being consumed. However, I do like the new 'Edge Panel' feature that was included with the update.

TRIed to backup all photos, line, albums, gallery to my pc. OMG how terrrible is latest OS !
used to be able to save all in galleries on my SD card. Now its all lumped in pictures all as one. What is samsung thinking !!! I need them grouped in galleries and save them like that. my LG with oreo v 8 has albums, and since then did Samsung; or google trash what made perfect common sense !!
what do I do with 2,000 photos all in one folder. ?

The most important thing to do is reset your phone after a major OS update.
Currently, my phone is functioning well without any bug because I reset my phone after the update to android 11.

Msabb, 16 Jun 2021In as much as I want Android 11 update on my A30 , the stories in the comments section are a b... moreI got Android 11 OneUI 3.1 OS update today, remarkable visual improvements, and I love the haptic feedback on the Navigation Gestures. My phone is very fluid and responsive, no adverse noticeable lags.
Only bad thing is that this was the last major OS update for the Galaxy A30. Otherwise, this is a superb smartphone.

Hello, I am posting the real and honest review of A30
I have been using it since last 1.5 years
Pros: 1. Good video recording, 2. nice screen, 3. looks wise its ok, 4. Durable (have dropped my phone at times)
Cons: 1. Very slow and lags a lot most of the times even opening the call log or making a call lags, 2. Slow charging, 3. Camera is not at par with todays phone.

Samsung a30 is super great. I bought mine in 2019 and I've upgraded android version twice (from 9 to 10 and now to Android 11). So far so good, it's been stable

Android 11 on A30 is buggy for now. But the UI is Awesome.
