zzz, 18 May 2021Is it already safe to update to android 11? Is there any issues on the performance or battery?Updating to Android 11 the phone becomes much faster. Only one big problem the battery drains faster especially on auto brightness, the reason for this the phone now uses the front camera to detect the auto brightness sensor. The lightcamerasensor we use more than 25% of your battery every night, you just have to turn the auto brightness off. This problem is also on Samsung Galaxy A31,A51,A71 and the Samsung Galaxy M series after updating to Android 11. Some people said the problem is Google but other people say the problem is the device care is incompatible with Android 11, which make the front camera sensor for auto brightness drains a lot of battery. . Another issue with Android 11 some apps cannot run in the background

I live in Morocco and I just updated my Samsung Galaxy A31 to android 11.

Just updated mine to One UI 3.1 base Android 11 and the features comes in a cool look and gentle response.
I have an improvement in the battery. I lost just 1% overnight in sleep mode.
The phone responds more faster and the memory seems discharged of unwanted files.
The additional features works great and no lag.
The fingerprint sensor and Faceunlock respond more faster.
The update is really a good addition to the phone and if Samsung won't mess it up later with their updates with the hope of pushing people to their new phones. 😌

samsungA31user, 17 May 2021Make sure you factory reset to your phone after the update... like what I didMy phone has a voice instructing what to do and when dialling the keypad you have to tap first to highlight and then double tap the key to do any function e.g calling

Anonymous, 14 May 2021Had some but just a restart fixed it. Also applied built-in battery saver and it's awesome!Make sure you factory reset to your phone after the update... like what I did

Anonymous, 14 May 2021My A31 stop charging with its charger suddenly, it only shows that a USB is connected and then... moreTo be honest with you... dont use the fast charger even tho its a useful thing... that will easily break your battery and the charger itself... even on higher end phones...

Guys finally updated mine just last week couldn't wait till ending,and I must say it's really smooth,it doesn't stutter like the OneU.I 2.5....but I'm not going to update should another update come espe when it's a security update,as I have the feeling that Samsung is going to mess it up,so that we get newer devices,so in short I'm going to remain on this particular update until if we should get android 12...lol

Please go to the settings and search for "fast charging" and disable it, then reconnect your charger and tell us whether it works or not.

My A31 stop charging with its charger suddenly, it only shows that a USB is connected and then disconnected continuously like that. I tried the charger on another samsung device and it worked. Now I am forced to used a normal charger which don't fast charge. Pls help
