What phone is best to use? Huawei P30 lite or Samsung A31? According to the chip and camera. I dont play games on phones

Got the phone in december of 2020. There was an update that meant I couldn't use the wifi from my college residences on it. Complained to Samsung who played innocent. They were obviously aware of the issue since they sorted it after another update in March of that year. The camera needs some serious development on the software side of things, low light and macro are terrible, and it has a beautification filter that you can't turn off. The lock screen has a yellow hue to it, the face recognition is not great, the fingerprint reader is slow, GPS is terrible, the multitask is more annoying than useful. I will say that apart from those things it's fine, battery life is good, most games seem to run OK, UI is OK. Overall, go for something else if you're looking in this price range.

I bought this phone, it's good, because it's has 4 cameras, colorful SAmoled display, and features, but the disadvantage is the chipset is underwhelming gaming performance, if you are a gamer you can get much faster than the Helio P65 at this price point, and also the price isn't competitive, overall it's good and decent

Hi there I already updated to android 11 One UI 3.1 and using A31 since August 2021, after November security update phone is really slowed down but mine is 4/64GB version some lags occurred so wiped device to factory reset after that, now no any heating issues all bugs gone everything is ok and also some improved things here : Tested PUBG, COD, GOW4, installed some heavy apps, hd video files and tested heavily no lags on android 11 charging effectively faster than all, installing applications stabilized from play store, stock apps improved, camere is still awesome 48mpx no night mode but shots are super fine with 20mpx selfie, battery backup is really satisfying and now waiting for Android 12 it beats everything I need, I'm blessed.

You must upgrade the information about the operative System Because the a31 can be upgrade to Android 11 and in a few months can be upgrade to Android 12

loy, 12 Jan 2022I changed LCD 3 times which costs more than the price when I bought it. LCD is very sensitive ... moretotally agree. This is far from what I expected when I bought into the "Samsung" name. I have never had a good camera experience with it ..ever.. Pictures e very important to me and this phone has the worst camera I have ever had. One small drop, even with the ottterbox on it cracked the screen.

I bought 2 phones one for my brother and other for me, we both are facing same issue at anywhere, "Voice Call not clear on both side On LTE network".

I changed LCD 3 times which costs more than the price when I bought it. LCD is very sensitive and breaks easily at minor impacts. I am not happy with the quality.

using my phone for more than a year now, no problems encountered only when i downloaded apps not from google playstore that it started to slowdown, so i uninstalled those apps and it worked and still working fine today

This phone is actually really bad.
It starts to work kind of slow after about 2 months and after 6 months it works as slow as a 3 year old phone would. And this happens without watching any suspicious videos or visiting weird websites.
The worst thing about this phone is the camera. It says that it should be a good one and it looks like it is good but it's really terrible. There is some kind of yellow filter that appears on every single picture and it's just really annoying. It just isn't a very sharp camera. I'm not able to take any truly good pictures with that phone.
There is also a weird yellow filter on locked screen all the time so you can't really have a nice looking background.
The only kind of good thing which is the macro camera is also not so good. I don't know if that's even possible but it feels like it's loosing quality over time. Basically you can't take pictures with macro camera from as close as in the beginning.
The camera just isn't good in any lightning and it works really slow so you can't open it quickly and sometimes there is a sound of tha camera but it doesn't actually take any pictures.
Also I think you can't really see it if you don't hold the phone but it has a really inconvenient shape. If you don't have a case on you can't lean it on anything since it just slides down and it's not really comftorable to hold.
Also I know it is written how much it weights but i need to warn you. It is really heavy. It is really annoying to carry it sometimes. And it hurts a lot if it falls on you.
It is tough tho. Mine was run over by a small car and it didn't break, but I had screen protection on.
I think it is a very vad phone not worth it's money.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2021Call dailing app not working after update. Disable the notification for messaging apps .. no choice...until now only that is the solution that I have since the entire phone not built for gaming
