What you call theoretical numbers on a specs sheet is what the chip is capable of under ideal conditions - when it's paired with fast enough ram and storage and with a large enough bandwidth so that the chip doesn't have to slow down and wait, and when an application that was optimize to the chip is run on it. Although it's certain that in phones in low price ranges like the A36, even if a chip like the SD6 gen 3 runs an application that was optimize to it, it won't get close to its theoretical maximum speed because in order to maintain profit margins, it'll be paired with slow ram and storage and with narrow bandwidth. That being said, the theoretical maximum speed of the SD6 gen 3's GPU indicates that it is significantly faster than that of the E1380, so it is certainly possible that even with slow ram and storage, it'll provide significantly better gaming performance than the E1380's GPU on the A54/A35, especially because the rams and storage of the A54 and A35 are very slow.

My wife has a device with the Adreno 710, and its gaming performance is not much better than that of the A54 and A35. Benchmarks and gaming tests on other websites confirm a negligible lead over the A35 in GPU capabilities for the Motorola G75 (which has the very same SOC as the A36). So... Yeah... Doesn't matter what numbers you throw out. Not much of a difference in actual real world scenarios.

By about 10-15% only. That is not a huge difference. It is something indeed, but not something that can be labelled as "much faster". And the CPU-wise performance is nearly identical to the Exynos 1380. It swings here and there by like 5% or so, but in daily usage and even in heavy usage, nobody will notice that difference.

The upgrade is in the modems used within snapdragon. Modems made by Qualcomm typically run better than Modems made by Samsung. (Exynos)
This should result in much btfer signal reception. (Especially in rural areas! and will reduce heat & power-efficiency.
They chose this specific chip because it’s identical in performance to Exynos 1380 such that if you upgrade from A35 to A55, you won’t be losing anything . (Side-grade)

While it is true that Snapdragon is generally superior to Exynos, I've a feeling that Samsung intentionally paired it with slow storage and ram, both with low bandwidth on this phone, so that the SD6 gen 3's performance in gaming wouldn't look too good next to the E1380, and also so that it performance wouldn't get too close to that of the E1580.
