Hopefully the next year generation of A3 will improve on several key points:
- bigger battery (2500-2800 mAh), I don't care if it's a bit thicker and heavier as long as its other dimension stay the same or even smaller
- better software optimization (at least on top of the latest Nougat version)
- less bloatware (let us choose which Samsung proprietary softwares from Galaxy Apps that fits our needs)
- better camera hardware (OIS, wider aperture, dual tone LED flash, don't really care for 4K video recording and save dual cameras for 2019)
- faster and always on fingerprint scanner
- bigger memory configuration (at least 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM, UFS 2.1 will be really sweet)
- faster chipset (at least Exynos 7880 or Snapdragon 626)
- wireless charging capability (it currently has glass back, so why not?)
- free unique jelly case like they did on J Pro 2017 series
If Samsung read this and can approve most of those points, they will have better compact phones than what they're offering in 2017 now.
Man, I even won't mind if they charge $100 more if they can tick all those boxes.
sandra, 20 Jul 2017I can't decide between A3 2017 and S6? any help?? :)S6 is better!
This is a good phone. But i sold that out just bcz of its front wide angle camera. Most often while taking selfie it shows your face long or small due to wide angle lense. Please samsung stop using wide angle lenses. Otherwise battery was superb. And very fast charging speed.
nima , 04 Jul 2017please some one answer me i want buy a compact phone which this phone i buy .iphone se or sams... moreDont go for the z5 because its old, if you like compact phones and if you have the money go for the se, it is much better option over a3 which only has a better display and waterproof which nobody needs

Stacy, 12 Jul 2017If I turn my phone off and restart My phone it freezes on the start screen .... and I can onl... moreTry a pinch reboot. Hold down the power and volume down buttons together for 10 seconds. That will force-reboot the phone.
If it still hangs on the start-up screen, you'll have to re-install Android. Hold down the power, volume up, and home keys together until the phone reboots into recovery mode. From there you can wipe the device and reinstall the OS. You will lose all data.
If I turn my phone off and restart My phone it freezes on the start screen .... and I can only reopen it when the battery runs out
Vincentzio, 11 Jul 2017If u experienced bad stand by battery, u can turn off Always On Display (AoD), AoD consume 1% ... moreYeah I've tested it by turning off "Always on display", all the running apps, and by decreasing display brightness to the lowest possible point. But it is still showing strange behavior as I mentioned earlier that battery goes down from 100% to 91% from midnight to early morning, and from 91% to 61% till the evening. I'm extremely confused and mentally disturbed that how can I solve this issue? Don't know that whether the problem is with the phone or charger or with anything else. Appreciate if you and someone could help & guide me on this issue as how can I stop battery draining in standby mode. Thanks
Salmanbhai, 09 Jul 2017I've bought a3 2017 a week ago here in pakistan..phone is superb but a strange thing happening... moreIf u experienced bad stand by battery, u can turn off Always On Display (AoD), AoD consume 1% battery per hour.

I've bought a3 2017 a week ago here in pakistan..phone is superb but a strange thing happening regarding its battery. when phone is fully charged at night, its battery falls to 91% in the morning, and falls further till 61% in the evening (phone is put on standby with no usage during these timings). this is happening since i bought it and continuously observing that since then.. what can i do? is this a battery issue or problem with the charger or software? can anybody help me on this issue???????
Have it for a month now. Came from iPhone 7. Everyone was asking me are you crazy, why downgrade when you have a premium phone? I just didn't like iOS and was missing Android/Touchwiz. Still wanted a small screen, with fast performance, great battery, good camera and fingerprint. This phone has all of it and has exceeded my expectations. Best battery life I ever had on a phone, standby and on-screen time both amazing. S8 and iPhone 7 are three times more expensive, but I prefer my lovely small Galaxy A3 2017 :)
