I've had the A40 for about a month now. It isn't a bad phone but it could use some more beef under the hood but otherwise it's a great phone. Totaly recommend.
One thing is I don't like about it is...BLOATWARE.

I got this phone on tuesday and so far i have been very happy with it after some adjustments in settings, apps and whatnot.
But i have trouble with buttons (volume, pause, skip and so on) on my Sennheiser CX5 airbuds, or more precisely they work spotty. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. They can work one momment and then next moment they don't. My previous phone was Moto G4 with Nougat and i had no issues there. Could anyone else who has this phone test their earbud controls and whether they work? Day to day i use phonograph but it is the same issue in google play.

But it has the newest Android and Samsung UI and almost no screen bezels. If you compare S7 and A40 side by side, the A40 makes the S7 look and feel ancient.

Just a general question:
Why does a non ip resistant phone not feature a removable battery? In this case, where the phone was specifically made for the european market it just makes me wonder.

Why they dont compare to older flagships? Is this phone better than i.e the Samsung S7? Or the LG V30? Both very good phones still today, and can be had brand new for same price as this midrange A40? I am 100% sure that at least the LG V30 is a much better phone for the same price. Maybe also the S7.
