Had to download a third-party app for that
A40 received android 11 update and one ui 2.5. It's receiving security updates too.

I have this phone for more than a year. Very good phone. In three words; Very very good screen and selfie camera, good performance and camera and average battery. And the screen is almost borderless and it has One UI 3.1 and android 11(unsure why this page has still not updated that).
Overall a very good phone with no problems. I recommend.
Everything is ok but the main problem is the Processor
I've been using it for 1 year

I am aware that this phone is in the low-mid range (bought it €250, which is an average monthly wage in my country) and i was happy with it untill the update two months ago but i decided to give it a go.Unfortunately this morning I missed my exam(10:00) and i came to work at 02:50 instead of 12:00 since my shitty phone decided to malfunction, the screen was dark and unresponsive and the calls and alarms were disabled..totally unreliable..has no battery to be removed so it can restart so i had to randomly click all the buttons for 15 min so it resrarted somehow, its not physicly damaged anyware althoe within the first few months of use it developed ulgy dots on the back but i placed it in a mask so i wasnt bothered by it.Wrote an e-mail regarding the buggy rushed android 12 two days after the update but nobody bothered to reply. All in all very bad experiance tho i had every S model between S1 and S6 edge, then used huawei and iphone for years since the stupid display fail on s6 edge and my return to this shit was dissapointing.DONT BUY SAMSUNG ITS AN UNRELIABLE RUSHED OVERPRICED BRAND
The phone works well, has dual sim and runs apps relatively fast. Battery life was initially good but within a year I would have to charge it every night and with several phone calls in a day, would have to be charged twice in a day. However, within a month my phone stopped charging when I plugged it in. Initially, I'd unplug and replug and that would fix the issue. Then after a year, it got to the point where I would have to hold the Samsung logo on the back of the phone to get it to charge. By 1.8 years even this method no longer worked so I sent it off to Samsung to repair as it is a known fault and my phone was still within the 2-year warranty. This is where it gets bad. Samsung damaged the phone in transit so the screen had cracks and therefore voided the warranty and tried to charge me £124 for a screen repair (battery repair is £59). I obviously disputed this but as my phone was my camera I had no photographic proof of this. 3 weeks later my phone is still in for repair, Samsung cannot contact the repair centre as they have no contact details for them and I have no phone.
Overall this phone has a known issue with the battery connection and Samsung will damage your screen voiding your warranty if you try and get it fixed. AVOID.
The phone seems great but overall I had it for 2 years and I’ll say it’s good phone but many not great features to it 💩 :)
The iPhone 11 is a bit BETTER 😅😊😜😎
This phone is a totaly s**t after less than 2 years the battery can't do one single day, and after one specific update the phone keep restarding random
You forgot to write that this device is upgradable to andorid 11.
Best price + size, battery 2 days average usage
cons only NO AOD !!! samsung cmon give us chance pls.
The new update to android 11 causes apps to hang and the phone keeps going off
Soqar, 29 Mar 2021is the android 11 update stable, is the phone running smooth??Got the Android 11 update yesterday. Phone does not feel any faster (or slower), but all animations feel noticeably smoother. Battery life is also great so far (but that could just be the restart during update, which killed all background apps). The UI is mostly unchanged. The fast access drawer on the right side of the screen is a welcome addition.
Overall a great phone, gettting better with every update.
