It's a shame that Samsung has decided to get rid of the compactness of the previous A4* models including the downgrade to a 720p display. Great looking plastic back though!!

A42 : 720p but Super Amoled.
A32: 1080p but no Super Amoled.
A30, A31, A40 and A41: 1080p with Super Amoled.
Samsung is really messing and dumping their A series phones next year.

samsung phones are overpriced anyway. i don't see why anyone who's well versed in tech would waste their money on a brand new samsung phone. the mi 10 lite 5G costs the same, has much better specifications and a 1080p display at that.

Especia... moreyou're right but you also have to keep in mind that the target demographic for the A42 are people who want to enjoy the benefits of 5G on a budget, so of course they had to cut some corners to keep the price in the affordable range
