Just think: pay 300$ on a samsung phone will give less income to china compared to buying a 300$ chinese phone, I know I can't cut their profit to 0, but I can reduce it as much as possible, on a large scale, this will put pressure on chinese governement so they stop what they are doing. Can't believe how narrow minded you are.

I'm going to be done with this phone by monday, when I get my Xiaomi. I can live without OLED and UFS Storage if it allows me to actually use the fingerprint sensor.
The in-display-sensor is not the general problem. Normal fp sensor on other Samsung models (e.g. S8, S9, Note 9 and Galaxy Tab S5e) are also either slow or fail to read. I didn't have to best experience with the Tab S5e either when it comes to the fp sensor.
Just such a dissappointment for me. I can afford the more expensive stuff but they lack in battery life + I don't even make use of the performance, so I cheaped out with the A50..

Every company buys stuff from China. Your purchase of a Samsung device contibutes to China, just like any Apple device. Just grow up and be realistic. It is difficult to not think about the political issues when buying Chinese products but we can't put every Chinese company or person in the same boat as their government...

After all you say t... moreIf there are three slots to fill and the third one doesn't work, it is not fixed! What is your logic behind that. You often cant even register 2. I tried 10 or more times failing before it worked for one thumb. Than two days later it isn't working anymore. Seems like the algorhytm doesn't work...

Finally, I never post my pics on facebook or share personal info with google, and my selfie camera is covered, not to mention antivirus always active. At least I value my privacy to the top.

After all you say that you can register 2 of 3 .
So it shows the problem has been solved as you can register 2 fingerprint and forget about third one .
So you see the problem had already been solved.

Hossein1379, 28 Dec 2019You told me that you can register 2 fingerprints and the problem is for the third one After deleting 2, because it wouldn't unlock anymore, I'm no longer able to register any prints. Funnily right thumb fails immediately and left thumb take a lot of time to register. Third finger fails immediately to register.
I've just read that several other models were crippled with this patch e.g. the A40 and A70. I am pretty sure now that they are trying to push more expensive S models. I still have to wait for a fix so I can sell this thing with a clear conscience...
