xiami redmi note 8... moreI personally bought the Redmi Note 8, because I don't care much about performance but functionality. The Pro version has a Mediatek SoC, which generally don't get Android updates, because they don't provide source codes.
On the upside (or downside for some), the Note 8 Pro has an OLED display. It is not a Samsung panel, so don't expect to much from it.
It also has UFS (2.1 I think) Storage, which is significantly faster than eMMC Storage used on the standard Note 8.
I have not received my Redmi Note 8 yet, but I can say that considering Xiaomi is not a bad idea. I just wish they would stop flooding the market with "new" models every 2 to 3 months. It's just causing confusion. Either way you will get a functioning phone, unlike the A50, which was ruined with software updates.

Just got December update for Emarat and i can see some fix :
# Fingerprint problem completely solved .
# Camera pictures are now better .
# wifi connection is now very well and stable .
# some changes in messages while sending a message
# one ui is now smoother .

M30 Already got it, but it's a lower class than the A class. This does not make any sense, and Samsung doesn't even care. When are they going to release the update already...
My friend today said that few days ago he received the Android 10 Update for his S10e and boy oh boy it's smooth as hell. I can imagine what it will be like when we A50 users get the update.
The new animations are nuts.

Go for Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite instead of A50. It is more powerful phone.
