I bought the Samsung A50 about 2 months ago. I was in a rush because my old phone had been stolen. Big mistake. The cameras on this phone are absolute crap! I had a Huawei (P10 I think) in about the same price category before and it delivered absolutely stunning pictures. Had an HTC way back before that. Again, most beautiful pictures. What's the point of 4 cameras with gazillions of pixels if you end up with pictures where the face is just a blob? When I activate the camera and try to zoom in, it automatically goes to video. If I don't remember to set it back I'll start recording and by the time I have it fixed, the moment is gone. If I want to take a picture through a window, it focuses on the object outside - as soon as I want to take the picture it re-focuses on some dirt or drop of water on the window. Haven't been able to get any usable image out of that situation. Video is a disaster. The camera won't focus for the longest time, then it focuses, then it goes back out of focus. Haven't been able to get any usable video out of it. In perfect conditions with a person standing right in front of you, you might get a so-so picture. Evening or not-so-perfect condition or something more distant - forget about it. I'll have to look for a different phone and get rid of this one as soon as I can afford it. I would have expected better from a brand like Samsung.

Hi, does anyone here having issues with the samsung A50?
Like heat up and the phone cannot be start at all.
Already tried Vol and on button but doesn't work.
It shows over heat, but the phone is not hot at all, nor it is charging. And now total gone.
That that screen keep popping up.
Just bought it 4 months ago.

Camera quality after several updates is still so low , battery drain is not fixed yet, please someone report the problem

By considering price and the features that A50 has , it is better than S series but just in this way . Everybody knows that midrangers are just midrangers and they cant be compared with flagshipers ..........

PartTimePhoner, 26 Oct 2019Sure, A50 is a great phone but come on..... this thing is nothing near S seriesYeah it is nothing near the S series but if you look price wise then this is the best mid range phone money can buy especially for people who can't afford to buy the expensive flagship devices.
