Samsung flagships (old/new) are the best no doubt about that, if you can afford one blindly go for it. In my country the note 9 is selling at $562 while the A50 is for $270 so there's a major difference in price. I'm using the A50 as it's much more affordable than older flagships & so far it has been a great experience.

FallenOne, 11 Oct 2019Pretty good point. Let's see what my options are, to get a50 or wait for a51 and a71If you have the money for A71 then just buy a pre-loved Samsung Note 9 6/128GB. Samsung midrange pricing is overblown so much so that the old flagship such as the Note 9 is still a great contender for the A71's target price point. I like Samsung but my preference were their flagships and the old ones, they're much more well-rounded and much more powerful than any midrange Samsung offers.
[deleted post]Again, Samsung is using "Glasstic". 3D Glasstic in particular. Their smartphone's backing is just a design to look like a shiny glass with fancy colors outside that's why they use a name combination of "glass" from glass and "tic" from plastic. They're not using Glastic material, it's different from what Samsung has implemented in their phones. If Samsung calls their rear backing "glastic" without using the proper Glastic material, they're up for a lawsuit and they knew that. 3D glasstic is a marketing term, if you bought the phone with the expectation that it is Glastic, well it isn't.
Nonetheless. Even if your arguments were wrong you still support them? lol. Well let's assume they're true for the benefit of the doubt, which isn't obviously, they're still plastic. Plastic is the superset of Glastic and Glastic is just more specific type of plastic. Do you get my point?
Get your facts straight, get it from the manufacturer and not just from any blog or review site.
FallenOne, 11 Oct 2019Okay, break it down not too complicated though hahaha Body:
This one is a bit problematic for Samsung since they wemt for glasstic but.... that made it lighter?
P30 Lite: Dual glass design but stil light at 160g thanks to small battery
A50: Front glass and plastic rear with a heavy battery but still a s light as 166g thanls to plastic reat
Note 8: Heaviest of the bunch with 190g since it has both a big battery and a glass sandwich design.
Design:
This one is a bit tricky, because its a personal thing. As for Front design, they all have the same Infinity-U.
P30 Lite: Smallest of the bunch with 6.15"
A50: Has a slightly bigger chin but it makes sense when used in landscape mode
Note 8: Has "Redmi" Written on its chin. Thats a bit annoying.
As for the real panel, it gets more and more personal.
P30 Lite: Gradiant colors and a big-ol rear fpscanner.
A50: Color shifting without any trace of a fpscanner
Note 8: Gradiant colors and a big-ol fpscanner but it has a weird-looking (personal opinion) camera layout as having it that way makes it look longer than it should.
Display:
This is Samsung territory and they rule it here.
P30 Lite: 415 ppi IPS LCD
A50: 403ppi Super AMOLED
Note 8: 409ppi IPS LCD
A50 has a pitch black king AMOLED and man it hits different
Performance:
This one isnt something you would look out for but they still arent same so....
P30 Lite: has Kirin 710, performs similar to SD660
A50: has exynos 9610, performs similar to SD660 but a bit better thanks to CPU
Note 8: has SD665, performs better than SD660 but it wont effect you.
Memory:
This one is a battle between regions not phones. I dont know whats available there so.....
P30 Lite: 128GB base storage is great to have and it supports MicroSD cards
A50: base is 64 but depending on region you can get 128. We have 64/6 and 128/4 here with the same price and since you cant put extra RAM I went for 64/6
Note 8: Same story with A50. Region battle, 64VS128
Camera:
They all have give decent shots if you fiddle around with them a little. (I take pictures that regular A50 users cant because regular users see giving 5 seconds for optimisation as hard as rocket science) You wont be going wrong with any, though there are some differences.
P30 Lite: has a decent camera, nothing much special but cant record 4K video
A50: has a decent camera, has super steady video mode but needs third party app for 4K recording
Note 8: has a decent camera, can capture 4K video with the native app and has a telephoto, even though its 2MP only.
Battery life:
This one is an important feature for most of us but sadly I cant find any information about Note 8 battery life.
P30 Lite has a smaller 3340 mAh battery. Even though Huawei has a great battery drain algorithm that has thdm last long, it still isnt enough to take down 4000 mAh A50. Doesnt matter which you buy though, as they all will get you through at least a day since you dont play games.
Extra Features:
Time to shine for exclusive features, as they are more important than you think.
P30 Lite: has features EMUI brang along like navigation toggle and others (I dont know all of them could be great if someone added those extras)
A50: has features OneUI brang along (Bixby Routines is a really good one) as well as some extra and official features you can download to get. Like One hand operation+ and Sound assistant. It also has app pin and pop-up window.
Note 8: probably has things ita UI brang but this guy is never talked about anywhere so I cant find any info. It has an infrared port tho it can be used as a remote control for the tv
PartTimePhoner, 11 Oct 2019All right. Gotta give you a in-depth comparisionOkay, break it down not too complicated though hahaha

FallenOne, 11 Oct 2019No huawei options available in the same price range as these? P30 Lite:
Has good looks but in the same price range as A70 and falls short behind it. Camera and Chipset closer to A50
Y9 Prime: a good pop-up camera midranger. (I personally dont like the EMUI tho)
PartTimePhoner, 11 Oct 2019Redmi Note 8 Pro: Value for Money, but has a Mediatek chipset meaning problematic updates. ... moreNo huawei options available in the same price range as these?
FallenOne, 11 Oct 2019One UI is fine, no realme here I where I am and yes for big screen. Redmi Note 8 Pro: Value for Money, but has a Mediatek chipset meaning problematic updates.
Samsung Galaxy A50: Solid midranger, a bit pricey next to others but man that software is lit (lots of customization and has one of the best UI's out there) and has the superior positioned in-display fingerprint scanner with AOD
Samsung Galaxy A70: Bigger solid midranger, but still pricey. Its really big and has an outstanding battery life
M30s: BIG battery. Good pricing But lacks useful features like Bixby Routines or a light sensor.
Redmi Note 7/Note 7 Pro: solid midrangers, good prices but ios-like UI
Xiaomi Mi 9T: a good choice if you want a full-screen phone, but still has a not-so-likable UI
Oppo Reno Ace: this guy seems to be the next flagship killer and man this thing is crazy. On the other hand, we havent got any reviews yet so cant say if its good or bad.
Pocophome F1:
Old but gold, powerful (but still old)
Has the Mother of notches
Now, I want you to chose 3 or 4 phones outta these 9
