I bought A50 and used for only 2 months. One the phone ceased working. Since it was under warranty the local service team replaced mother board and I was told it manufacturing defect. Again after few days the display blocked out. The service team replaced the display and said manufacturing defect. After just 3 days the message displayed as "phone is heating will be closed in 10 minutes" I checked the case and display it is still cold. I returned to service team this time they have mobile for one week and I still wonder what they are going to say next.

Die they purpoely Made that easy?Stop nonsense, it is just a gorilla glass 3, decent fall resistance and really high scratch resistant. Just use a case and tempered glass so ur good to go, reduces breaking risk severly. My vrother keeps dropping his A50 to the point where tempered glass broke, but the phone glass didn't :)

Best option to purchase in terms... moreA50 for sure, best value for money, but always check for software updates to keep this device running without problems (for sure update to latest update for superfast fingerprint).

It's really hilarious to see people unnecessarily bashing this phone. Talking about "screen breaking easily" c'mon, there's a thing called "tempered glass" which fits perfectly on A50's flat screen, we are not here to perform a drop test. Just common sense is needed here before posting illogical comments.

I think the battery life is better after the Oct update. Don't know why though.
Before that, the phone would spend up to 60 - 70% in 8+ hrs at work (2 sims on at all time, 4g on nearly all the time). Now, it would only take up to around 50 - 55% at work. And the phone lasts pretty darn long with just wi-fi on.
