Camera quality is important for me If camera is important to you then go for s9 and remember than S series of samsung are flagships but A series are mid-rangers. But if i were you i would buy A50 because a new phone give me a better sense than a used phone . Choises are yours.

Does july update affect the performance? Before May update I was able to play PUBG at HDR with less lag than now so wondering if it gets worse with every update

I don't use camera that often, update seems as good as before. However, wifi connection seems improve, signal strength seems better.

David, 03 Aug 2019Buggy, and the body is made of plastic. Why SAMSUNG? Still loving my old SAMSUNG A6 (2018). At... moreso what its plastic, is that all you care about? the battery on the a6 isn't as good and neither is the camera. Also the PPI is laughable at 294 compared to the a50s 401. the improvements outweigh the fact its not metal, plus the time for metal phones has finished its either glass or plastic now as its lighter.

David, 03 Aug 2019I'd prefer aluminum over plastic. Have you seen ["Galaxy A50 Durability Test!"] on YouTube?Yes, it isn't bad, I'm not clumsy to drop my phone from around 2 m to be destoyed, or silly to sit on my phone..
By the way I applied the back cover for extra protection...

Just updated my A50 this morning and i am very upset. All my online games became lag and delayed even though my connection was very good.. yesterday before the update all is well,. I am very very disappointed. Dont buy this phone for gaming. Im gonna rate this unit 3/10 after the update.

David, 03 Aug 2019I'd prefer aluminum over plastic. Have you seen ["Galaxy A50 Durability Test!"] on YouTube?Great you do but most of us use a case anyway. None of us here would make a video of dropping their phones and prove their stability. After all there's hard earned money involved dude.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2019Well, it isn't buggy, it has a processor almost twice faster than A6, the software is smooth .... moreI really love the glasstic back it's really beautiful and also the phone is so light weight.
