Bought mine in April 2019. Been a nice ride up until after upgrading to android 11... the Wifi and Hotspot are not working. Luckily it had a 2-year warranty returned to Samsung technicians. It's been a week now still waiting.

I've used a lot of Samsung galaxy phones in my day but I am VERY DISSAPOINTED with th A50s battery life, from day one a fully charged 4000mah battery doesn't even last a full day with frequent use, the designers definitely screwed up on this one!!

Got February security patch weighs 120MB. Nothing is there in the update only the security patch.

My A50 will be 2 years old in April.
I bought it in April of 2019 and I haven't experienced any ghost touch even once. Yes it does heat up if I'm continuously using it while charging or using mobile data for an extended period of time but other than that I've had no issue with this phone whatsoever.

Same experience here.. at first i am happy with the a50, the quality of the images & videos and sound..but now very disappointed with my unit didnt even made it a year before i got problems with the touch screen specialy when it gets hot.. then after a year it begun that so called "ghost touch"..

I had a samsung j7 2016 for almost 5 years, may wife still using it with really good condition. But this a50 is big disappointment, in just 1 year and half of using there is some part that cant touch its so annoying and the back panel alot of scratches even im so protecting it and clean it everyday. They say this phone is one of the best selling unit in 2019 and i say this is a scam phone, very disappointed.

Renegade , 14 Feb 2021Does a50 gets andriod 12????No, Samsung offers 2 Major Updates on their Galaxy Phones including Flagships, Midrangers. Since A50 started with Android 9, The Android 11 Update will Be the last Major Update but Still Recieving Improvements and Security Update.

Not recommended. Have issues with mobile Power I buy from Beirut the 128G at Mar-2019 at Dec-2019 the charge stop to work when try ti fix it
the Board died :(
Note: when the workshop open it the screws was missing!!!!
The big problem the data was also bye bye :( :(
