After using this phone for a month and previously using a Xiaomi, I am overall very happy with the Samsung A50.
First of all, this phone never gets hot (and I work in a hot environment).
The cameras are great, albeit pretty average at taking night photos (which is standard for smartphones).
In terms of biometrics - the finger print scanner tends not to work if your fingers get dirty (as they do in my job), but otherwise is fine when hands are clean. But the facial recognition is really good.
In terms of the UI I really like the simplicity of One UI.
Phone is not too light to not feel it on you and not too heavy for pockets.
The AMOLED display is amazing, and in this range is satisfying to use.
The one speaker can get loud, however, tends to be on the higher frequency range with lesser output of lower bass frequencies. Using headphones is really good though.
I never have any issues with lag, although I have not tried any demanding games, but I use many apps at once and many chrome tabs and have no issues.
Battery life is great, phone will last the whole day when using it consistently for lesser apps at work.

Galaxy a50 is very nice in its price range no regrets to buy, but I really don't like the main camera it's not as expected from Samsung, theres much better cameras in the same price tag or less so I hope there's an update soon to fix poor camera quality and weird colors, selfie camera are fine BTW.

I have used 2 the redmi note 3 and redmi 4..and the issues I had on those divces I wont advice anybody to buy such xiaomi product ..only buy the product if there service center is very close to you ..if not dont buy the phone ..because you will surely have issues
