Very slow internet(to no connection) using Mobile Hotspot. I'm using two sim cards with one sim assigned for Mobile Data. I'm now thinking of using my Ip8+ again. I also have a Huawei P20 Pro and it's working properly. Samsung please fix this ASAP!!! Prove to the world you deserve to be on top!!!

For those who say the fingerprint scanner is slow, try to register your fingerprint 3 times on SAMSUNG A50 and see whether you can unlock your phone faster than previous or not.

SAMSUNG A50 is using a on-screen fingerprint (price is around $300) and a brilliant Super AMOLED display.
How about HUAWEI?
Is HUAWEI also using a on-screen fingerprint on the phone within this price range?
No, HUAWEI never use it. Just put the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone only.
So how do you know that the on-screen fingerprint scanner performance of SAMSUNG A50 is slow when compared with HUAWEI?

Yes you can. You have "info" near contact and "share". Could not be easier.

Does it matter much ? To you? To me? What crucial improvements brings to you as a user? Oh I know three times tap and big P with rainbow is showing hmmm. Joking aside, I can live with it and I can do everything I need to do and a lot more. If it works for me it's good for me.

Well the thing is I do get security updates to some extent. But even if don't get them anymore it's not a tragedy. Why you ask ? First: I'm not NSA,CIA, FBI, banker, billionaire, secret agent, celebrity, porn actor :) ...etc, I also don't have anything important to hide so why ?
And second most important: I try to think before I do something (like instal app or pay something etc) versus do something first and then think what I did.
If it works for me it's good for me. Got the point?
Btw I have Windows on my pc always without antivirus software. And guess what. Never got a virus nor anything. My wife is another story: she clicks everywhere it says "you won a iPhone" , you know the result. It all depends what kind of user u are. Most often people needs protection from themself more than others.

Day: If it's a sunny day photos are decent until you zoom taken photo then things become bad. No details at all. 25MP is a gimmick IMHO.
Night: Just two words, very bad.
Everything else is decent to good except fingerprint reader (another bad gimmick), battery is superb.

Old flagship will most likely always outperform new midranger. I always buy this way until now when I bought A50. A mistake !

BUT: Be sure to complain in your phone via "Samsung Members". Complain there and maybe just maybe there will be update, complain here nothing will happen.

Anonymous, 30 May 2019It's not about specs. He is talking about bugs and issues Till now no major bugs are found. It is working super fine. It has also received 3-4 updates(including 3 Monthly security updates;in India region)
I am using from last 3 months.

In Italy, this phone is sold with 4GB RAM and 128 GB Storage.
I would have preferred 6GB/64, but that's it.
I've bought it and definitely it doesn't seem that bad. Very nice display and decent gaming.
If I have to complain of something, I would blame the (loud)speaker, which is not that loud: a Stereo solution would have been the best.
It has some bugs (i.e. can't change WiFi settings if phone is in Night mode, or the Settings app will crash) but they can be solved: some major issue with WiFi has already been fixed by Samsung, hope they continue their job and sort out the remaining ones.
Fingerprint, Face Unlock, Samsung Pay, NFC? Who uses that stuff? :)

What is the difference from the SM-A505F/DS and SM-A505FN/DS (Global). And all the other versions what are the differences between them SM-A505GN/DS SM-A505FM/DS SM-A505YN

Dont believe me? Just look at this comparison between p30 lite and A50, both cost 300$ :

You can clearly see A50 is superior: has a better chipset, battery, screen...
But p30 lite only has the 48 mp camera compared to 25 mp of A50.
So in my opinion A50 has a better value for money. Wish that haters shut up.

If phone is really sucks... Don't by it
Pictures captured from camera front/back are blurring!
Screen scrolling up/down are not working properly in some lists where it jumps
I buy it for a month and yet not update patch
For me this will be my last experience with Samsung... Especially A series
