If nothing works with you either factory reset, or use the warranty to fix your battery.

Your battery backup is normal..
Do you compare the brightness and screen quality with MiA1 and redmi ..
IPS display consume equal amount of battery .
Either whilte or black screen .
While Amoled .
White screen give 3 h
And black screen last 8h ..
This is main reason in battery draw ..
This mean Ips display never save your battery in black screen.
Amoled save much battery in black screen ..
May be you doubt clear .

After 2 weeks of usage, i feel there is battery issue with this phone. I use night mode with black wallpaper, wifi autosync gps bluetooth off and use battery optimization, no game, no heavy usage. Best SOT so far is 7 hours ++ and left me 20% battery. My brother have mi A1 and my sister have redmi note7. I checked the SOT on RN7, it's 7hours 53minutes and 33% battery left. Mi A1 is very good in battery too, it can play pubg 30minutes for 6% battery. The battery score of miA1 is 87 hours but in my case miA1 drain slower than mine.

Theo, 02 May 2019Stop with bullshits.. i have this phone...and is a great phone...battery is fine..still optimi... moreYou know if I was the only one having the problem I wont have said anything and in my county Samsung does not collect refund ..if am to take my phone to care centre my phone will sleep in there office for 2 weeks just for battery drain issue .and I don't have another phone to use for 2 weeks ..yes the phone is great to some users .both some users are having issues like me I have posted my battery stat to show am not lying ..the phone might be great to you but it is useless to me ..thank you

Craddan, 02 May 2019Everybody prasing it on GSM arena while in the Samsung community people are insulting the pho... moreStop with bullshits.. i have this phone...and is a great phone...battery is fine..still optimizing..i think i get better screen on time when i play games...i got like 8 hours screen on time with 1 full charge ..and i mostly played games and YouTube...if you use a lot of crap apps of course your battery will drain like shit...learn to use a smartphone first and then complain...i never had battery issues or any other issues on phones...and i used cheap phones...zte huawei samsung xiaomi...only the cheap models..and rarely lagged ...and never battery issues...i had some battery issues in my first month with a new j7 2017 but after the first month i got 12 hours screen on time

After latest update am seeing WIFI disconnection when using bluetooth headset.I need to restart for bluetooth as its getting disbaled.anyone facing this issue??

Overall a nice phone.
On the plus side, it delivers pretty good sound and has a good radio reception, the camera is so-so in full auto (but a lot better with manual adjustments)
On the down side, the underscreen fingerprint scanner is slow and unreliable and the face unlock functions is a bit too easygoing as it allows some false positives.
Note: In SW Europe the version available (SM-A505FN/DS) has 128GB storage / 4GB RAM.
