It kept freezing and automatically restarts and sometimes stuck on the logo. Then after more than 2 weeks, my phone gave up and won't turn on anymore. Went to have it repaired but said the motherboard needs to be replaced. The service guy said it's a common issue on the A series. Save yourself and your money, people. I'm having an iPhone now so I won't have to deal with crappy Androids anymore.

Worst phone ever for gaming. I always get high ping when playing moba. Signal unstable. When i switch to other phone, i never have such ping and unstable signal issues.

The bottom portion is ok no heat.

I bought a50 before year ago. It's reasonable for it's price and have the all basic feature in it. I am a long time Samsung user but now I feel that they built products with lower quality.
My a50 phone got stuck several times. It will turned off and can't on. Even it won't charge. After searching through the internet I figure it out most of the a50 phones have the same issue and firmware reset is needed to solve the issue. Too bad about the mobile phone giant who make this kind of phones. I won't buy any Samsung devices.
Also touch in my a50 won't work sometime.
Please don't buy a50. It is a piece of shit.

Same type of issue I faced in Galasy S7 Edge and now clear wont buy any Samsung Hereafter

Battery drain fast and reaching 0% within 5 hours, when i put charge immediately going to 40%.. F**K Samsung Exynos .... Fast Charging is taking more time compare to normal Charging

i bought this A50 phone 6 month ago from Fido Canada.
it keeps turning off randomly and yet no solution from manufacturer. 500CA$ right to the trash.
missed so many important calls and massages.
if they have no responsibility for their product then this is the last time i buy from Samsung

I hope that Samsung make 5g version of Samsung A50 with all options and the same price.Adding 5g must not be expensive.

Bought this phone a year ago, never regret it.
Although when the early updates where causing slight LAG but after the Android 10 update it became even faster.
One advice i can tell: Delete preloaded apps (like Samsung Pay, Bixby ...more) using ADB

Randa , 07 Nov 2020My microphone isn't working after the update Go to setting then sound then volume and adjust volume which and so the problem may be solved . If still not solved go to samsung members and try automatic and interactive check.

Poor services quality by samsung mobile. They do not provide services on hardware issues under warranty and give reason like impact damage not covered under warranty think twice before buying samsung product. Moreover their services centers are not service providers, you need to approach their call center for anything and everything.its not one stop service provider(Unprofessional). Think twice before going with Samsung products friends
